Very satisfied with these bags and the purpose they serve!
This is my third or 4th bag that I’ve purchased in the last 2-3 years. I originally purchased my 1st bag because I was looking for a way to carry my 3-4 rods and my tackle (I am a bank fisherman but hope to upgrade to an angler kayak soon!). It works great! I did purchase a cardboard concrete tube as mentioned by others and it does a great job of giving rigidity! There is also a ‘hidden’ backpack feature! If you take the mid-strap and connect it to the storage flap receptacle, you have another shoulder strap! Find a pad/cushion that you can slide onto the strap and it’s very comfortable! I’m giving it 4 stars because these bags do eventually break, but keep in mind that I use my bag every weekend during the warmer months. The occasional user should get years of service with this bag. One other tip is that I recommend using some kind of ‘hook keeper’ as your hooks will get snagged in the bag material and can rip it if you’re not careful. Overall, I’m very satisfied with these bags and the purpose they serve, and don’t mind spending $20-25 to replace once it breaks.

A WASTE OF MONEY!
POOR DESIGN AND EXECUTION: An idea better left on the drawing table than tried in the field! The bag is clumsy to use (the Velcro tabs are simply too short), won't stand up straight when trying to fit the fishing rods, and does not securely hold the rods in place (certainly not while fitted with the reels),.So, after fussing with it for 30-45 minutes trying to accommodate my equipment, I finally concluded: WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!I reverted to tying separate strands of rope (which I had to use prior to tryinh this contraption) just to keep the equipment in place. I finally went back to using large Trash bags to transport my poles. Cheaper and more secure.

Clever design
My husband asked me to make a tote bag for his fishing stuff so he could hike or bike to his favorite spots. I looked online for ideas and was really surprised to find this product already existed! He took the advice of others and lined the bag with a sonotube to keep the bag upright. It is fairly durable without being too heavy. Lots of storage space. He stuffed the lower half of the sonotube with bubble wrap so he could reach his tackle in the top half of the bag. It's big enough to hold a folding chair, but makes the bag too heavy to take by bike. Great item.

Durable, makes lugging all our poles around a breeze
I got this for my husband after watching him struggle the last time we went fishing.Right at the onset of winter so we only used it a couple times so far. But, it worked beautifully carrying mine, his and our 3 kids poles plus some. He almost enjoyed it more than the new pole he got. Took a lot of stress out of the hike to his favorite spot.

Could've been Better stitched
I would like this product better if the stitch quality was better, as the carrying strap ripped during first fishing trip. Right as I lifted it from the truck an put it over shoulder. It holds 5 poles, my chair, pole holder, an my grabber. It makes things easier for sure, leaving my hands free to carry my tackle box, an a drink.

Recommend
I am using this to hike in my fishing gear to semi remote areas. I am giving it a 4 only because it only has one outside pocket. Other than that it works well.

Really great
The bag is great. I put like 7 poles on it a chair and my tackle. Works great when taking the kids fishing and you need more then one pole
