Pretty amazed by this welder.
Dislike...if it were for beginners... should include a tig torch for them to practice with. Nothing expensive, but functional atleast let them get their feet wet so to say. LolLike: compact size and versatile. Not sure about the auto settings. I guess it can be fine tuned, have yet to do so but will figure it . It does work where the presets are, I know it can be better tho. Dollar for dollar... well worth the $$. No issues thus far and have put 2lbs of solid .035 thru it.

Worst experience shopping with Amazon this was a ripoff
This is a complete rip-off worst product I ever bought the package state that the machine support 110 and 220 v I took it out the box and followed the limited instructions that was giving on the machine I plugged it in my 220 outlet and the machine broke instantly I didn’t even struck a arc I am very unhappy with this product I got zero value for my $340 and that does not include shipping and duty’s As a prime member this is my worst experience shopping with Amazon I am living in the turks and Caicos island I would like my money back or a different machine

Great little welder
A big improvement over my inexpensive HF flux core. Much better quality welds and consistent patterns. Not near the splatter/smoke. Also dual voltage/gas-no gas, stick and lift rig capable.Would recommend to any novice looking for smaller budget welder.

Good machine for beginners and home projects
*4/a2/b2- bought this machine for a buddy of mine who is just getting into welding. Machine took no time at all setting up, but also as he pointed out, for beginners he likes to be explained or given some type of background 912-5as to why or what makes something do different things. The owners manual doesn't really give any detail and in some areas where a little hard to understand and explain but all in all, it layed a base set up for you to tinker with. The 220 to 110 pigtail set up with gasless flux core consistently flipped the breaker, welding on 14.5 volts so didn't get to do any mig with this machine...On stick it ran everything fine, even 1/8 6011/7018 ran like a champ... have only been using this machine for 2 days now so longetivety I'm not sure how it will hold up but we do plan on getting it's money's worth out of it. So will update when something happens or doesn't! Mig gun looks durable, ground clamp looks durable and the stinger seems almost Indestructible! Also will update pics and longetivety later lol[UPDATE] -10/02/21: So it's been about 2-3 weeks, started him mostly using gasless flux. When you strike the arc and run the bead it runs perfectly fine, except when you get about 4-5 seconds in a bead the wire begins to feed out of the nozzle at an extremely high rate of speed, to the point of extreme spitting and sputtering you can't even keep the gun from jumping around let alone hold a bead. Tried adjusting the "fine tuning" voltage and dig settings and nothing changes. So as of today, unless you only run half as 3" beads it's a useless machine for mig processes.

Try it for home hobbisist
This little welder has so far been excellent. Laid down beautiful beads with not much clean up to do...the metal was 3/16 and had excellent penetration. I haven't used stick welding yet but I'm getting stuff together for 240 volt and will update after some welding..... zero complaints so far
