VViViD Paint Protection Film Clear Vinyl Gloss Self Healing Wrap Guard (12" x 54")

Unimpressed. It does not remain clear, residue remains underneath and does not go away. Solid color vivid vinyl is okay, but clear film is junk. Spend the money, get quality 3M or XPEL.

Pros-Easy to cut.Relatively inexpensive.Cons-Thin, and tears/cracks while manipulating around difficult surfaces.Ashesive doesnt seem to be strong enough for the outdoor abuse its designed for.I also have doubts about it self healing against anything but a hefty bug impact.If a small rock were to hit the surface covered by this, it would indeed provide the huge benefit of holding the paint chip in place until you removed the film, or it begins to peel from exposure to the elements.If you are using this on your vehicle to protect it against road damage, I'd pass.

Glad I only wasted $10 on this. Usless! Product should say "WARNING: ONLY APPLY TO 100% FLAT SURFACE !!!If you have any curve at all, this will not work. The wrinkles on the curves would require butchering the film to the point it would look better with scratches in the paint.My motorcycle doesnt have any 100% flat surfaces.

Prior to this product, I bought the 3M Film from Vvivid in 2016 and applied it to the interior car door panel, which is vinyl, to protect it from my puppy - works great! I later bought this non-3M products from Vvivid in 2017, the 6" width worked just okay, it stuck but didn't stretch or wrap as well as the 3M brand. I also bought Vvivid's 12" and it did not stick at all to the vinyl, however it does stick to painted metal. I realize I am using it in a non-standard application but I am comparing it to the 3M product which works great and does stretch nicer.
