Dass das Board hinten relativ wenig USB3.x Anschlüsse hat ist aus meiner sicht verschmerzbar, denn was schließt man schon großartig hinten an, was den Speed braucht, richtig nix, dafür gibt's nen USB3 und USB3.2-C front-Header, welche weit sinnvoller sind. Es sind ja deswegen dennoch reichlich USBs hinten verfügbar nur eben kein USB3 in größerer Zahl. Die VRMs sind bzw bleiben regelrecht kalt, zumindest die Kühlkörper sind bei mir nie über 45°C gekommen bei bis zu 230W Belastung mit einem Ryzen 9 3900X. Selbst RAM OC ist kein Problem. Um die Ausstattung dann auch mal abzuschließen, das Board verfügt auch über eine SLi Freigabe, welche inzwischen recht selten geworden ist, da die Technik leider von Nvidia langsam zu Grabe getragen wird, ich hoffe jedoch auf eine Wiedergeburt ;) wer noch mehr Ausstattungdetails braucht, schaut am besten hier bei Amazon oder bei ASUS auf der Seite vorbei ;)Zu guter Letzt das ABER auch mal erklärt =)so gut die VRMs auch sind, die Spulen können ein empfindliches Gehör wahnsinnig machen, es ist zwar verglichen mit einem Lüfter bei Vollgas sehr leise, im ruhenden Zustand dann aber mitunter durchaus nervig, aber vielleicht betrifft das auch nur mich, denn das Fiepen ist Lastunabhängig, so dass man nicht von einer Überlastung sprechen kann, dieses ist auch schon seit dem es von mir in Betrieb genommen wurde so.Im allgemeinen Klare Empfehlung in der Leistungsklasse gibt's nichts günstigeres.

My review title says it all, I am a massive fan of this board. You will not be disappointed! It is a solid premium B550 board from asus. If you are worried about the lack of usb 3 ports, don't be, you can always buy more usb3 pcie cards as an extension later on and there cheap.If it means that much to you to have more usb3 ports, then buy the x570 version.You do still get 2x usb3 ports on the io though. Another bonus about this board, because this is not an x570 you wont have the cooling fan that comes with the x570 chipsets as it is fanless with completely no moving parts.Very easy to install and the io shield is permanently fixed as standard which normally only comes with higher end boards.Very impressive!

Honestly this was the part of my PC build I struggled the most with what Mobo do I need.A good B550 board will cost the same as some of the lower X570 boards.Do your research find out what you need. Noting the main restriction of this board vs the X570 is if you use both PCIe 4.0 m2 slots it will disable 2 of your SATA drives. This still leaves you room for 4 SATA drives which in my case is ample.With the addition of WIFI and a passive cooler vs the active fan in the X570 this was the board for me!It hasnt skipped a beat!The LED Error Code display is a life saver as well to help diagnose any early issues such as badly seated RAM.

Great board. Rock solid and well built. My only gripe would be the armoury crate software. It occasionally has a fit and needs restarting to get the RGB stuff working right again. Other than that I love this board.

Issues with arctic cooler not fitting, would recommend looking on youtube as to how this needs to configured before first start.Few issues on first boot up. Do not build up fully otherwise you'll be taking it apart again.Also need lots of parameters tweeking like ram speeds etc. 3600mhz ram will run a 2666mhz instead.Also if running two m.2 drives you may not see the gen3 drive for available storage.
