Beautiful book
Another beautiful book from the author. My son absolutely loves this book. It’s a little bit longer but if your child loves books then I would 100% recommend it. My son is 2.5 and asks for this book every night before bed. A positive story with a lot of encouraging words. There’s also a colouring part at the end. A great gift for your little one for sure

Beautiful book which your kids will love!
Really lovely story with beautiful illustrations - my children loved reading the book themselves and snuggling up and reading it as a family. They really enjoyed the bonus materials too including the chart to help them think about their own gifts and talents. Lovely book!

My girls love it!!!
My daughters, 9 and 7-year-old really enjoyed this book. I was impressed at how my 7-year-old retold the story brilliantly. She confidently explained to me that we need to share our gifts to the world and not be timid. This book will definitely encourage and boost self-confidence! I love it. I love that my girls can also resonate with a character that looks like them.Thank you for the bonus colouring page! Brilliant! :-)

Great Story About Bravery!
The media could not be loaded. New Title & Children’s Book ReviewThank you Kamapala Chukwuka for this inspiring story about self-acceptance, bravery and overcoming one’s fears.Ama’s Gift is an inspirational story about a young girl who has a special talent that she’s afraid to share with the world. She has aspirations to share her special gift with her classmates but she has to overcome her fears first. Young readers will immediately connect with Ama’s story because most kids have been fearful at different times. As Ama learns to accept her special gift and overcome her fears young readers will also learn to do the same!Vibrantly illustrated this book makes for the perfect read-aloud or independent reading story. This book is an excellent resource for parents, caregivers or primary school teachers to begin the discussion about self-acceptance, bravery and how to overcome one’s fears. This book has mirrors that allow children of color to see themselves in books and celebrate their special talents and potential. It’s also a book with sliding doors allowing children of different races to see a positive character of African descent. At the back of the book there is a coloring page that invites young readers to color Ama as they desire. This added feature makes it a great activity book too!Whether you’re looking for a book to teach your child about racial diversity, self-acceptance and overcoming one’s fears, this is the perfect book. It also makes an excellent gift!

Sharing your gift!
Ama’s Gift is a wonderful book about a girl with a talent but scared to show it others. Being unsure of how other people will receive your talent is very common especially with children but I love that Ama’s parents were supportive and encouraging. I am glad Ama overcame her fear and was able to sing a the school talent show. Now she has the confidence to share her beautiful talent with the world.

Well-written book inspires courage and confidence!
This well-written and illustrated book will inspire and empower children to fulfill their dreams. It will give them the confidence to develop and share their gifts. I like the chart at the end which helps children identify their gifts, skills, and talents. The author is a certified confidence coach and it shows in her writing.
