Such a fun project. Just keep in mind that it takes 6-12 hours for the solution to set up before you can use it, and they take a while to dry once you put the design to paper. My kids (ages 5 and 8) had such a great time experimenting with colors and designs, and so did I :) The finished products turned out super cool! For some reason, the purple color didn't work well for us, but the other colors all worked great. We are looking forward to doing this project again and again.

Apart from waiting for solution to be ready the craft is great fun. Not an open the box and go situation!!! Once ready you need plenty of space to dry all the papers. This is the second box we’ve bought as granddaughter enjoys marbling and mixing the paints.

What do you get as a birthday gift for a 7-year-old granddaughter? This was a big hit!!!

Quite a good product but a bit of a faff getting the fixative (or whatever it’s called) made up , then having to wait to use it- then I think I got the ratio wrong as the colours were rather weak!

I bought this for my great nieces aged 4 -9. They absolutely love it & want to use it every time they come. They are inspired to try new colour combinations & patterns. The only problem is there is only a small amount of carrageenan which needs to be mixed with water in advance.6
