Texas Size John Henry's Texas Brisket Rub Seasoning (26 Ounce)

As I wrote in my previous review of the smaller container of this, I like to try a lot of different rubs. I'm glad I tried this one. It is excellent! This rub helps produce a well developed and flavorful bark that is not bitter (which sometimes happens with other rubs after being cooked for many hours). I use this liberally and put it on pretty thick after bathing my brisket in a can of coke. I used the smaller size up in no time flat; this larger size is more practical for me as I get at least one brisket a month in over the summer in my pellet smoker. I rub in additional fresh ground black pepper to the meat as this rub does not contain quite enough for my taste. Notwithstanding, it produces a beautiful flavor. I have used this on a brisket and wrapped it up in the fridge for as long as a week without the meat becoming dry or salty.

This is the best rub for ribs,chicken,turkey.

It has great favor and I use Pecan wood chips for smoking.

Had bought this before and it was great. So this time bought a big bottle. Came in and the sticker was broke and the safety seal under the top was pulled up. Went to return and replace, for obvious dont trust it issues, and this product has no return or replace policy. So guess I'll need to find either another place that sells this or a different rub.
