Perfect!
I purchased these because I work in a roughly 9'x10' office that has two full-sized 2'x4' florescent lights. It is way too overpowering for the small space and I usually work with my lights off. Unfortunately, living in New England it gets too dark many days to be able to work well with just the light from one window. These definitely filter the light and make it much less harsh which allow me to want to work with my lights on. They do result in a slightly bluish tone, but I got used to it very quickly and I don't see it as an issue. I disagree with others who said that it makes it look like you are under water. The blue tone is very slight. They were very easy to put up and many people haven't even noticed that they are there. I have to agree that after putting them up things did feel more calm. Is that because I read reviews that mentioned it or because I actually felt it? I'm not sure, but hey - what's wrong with the placebo effect?

These attached very easily to the lighting in my classroom
I use these in my elementary special education classroom. I initially got them because the florescent lighting would trigger my migraines and cause a lot of pain during a migraine attack. As a result, I would have the lights in my room off often, but that is not always conducive to learning. These attached very easily to the lighting in my classroom, and have greatly decreased the frequency of migraines that begin while I'm working. They have also helped create a more relaxing classroom environment. The lighting is not as harsh, and definitely feels more "homey" in the classroom. They do give a blue tint, and it did take a bit of getting used to, but my students and I have all adjusted well and prefer the lighting in our classroom to some of the other classrooms that don't have the light covers. I have recommended these light covers to colleagues, and would purchase them again as well.

Great for taming harsh fluorescent lights!
I bought a set of these blue light filters as well as the "white" (really, off-white) ones. I work in a government office with the typical harsh fluorescent lights. Yet even though ours are high up (20 feet or so), the light still bothered me and my office mates, creating a sterile environment. I had originally wanted to get the fancy light diffusers with clouds printed on them. I was blocked by two reasons: those are incredibly expensive (this was coming out of my pocket) and the fixtures in our office are "open"; that is, they have open "louvers", not a hinged cover where I could replace the plastic with something else.My office mates and I have mixed opinions of these. The worst of the observations is that, in bulk, they reduce the amount of light rather significantly (the blue more than the white). But the reduced glare and harshness seem to more than make up for it. There's also split opinion on whether the white or blue is better. I think it comes down to personal preference. I like them both equally. Many, including myself, have noted that the blue version makes it seem as though we have skylights - for an interior office with no windows, at least we have a fake perception of the outdoors! :)The reason I knocked off a star is because I didn't realize when I bought them that there was no frame. That is, it's just a folded piece of nylon with six (not 4 as described) magnets sewn into the border. This made putting them up (again, up to a 20 foot ceiling) rather difficult without a ladder (didn't want to notify facilities that we were putting up non-approved light covers!). It was doable, but a challenge, especially with the side magnets constantly wanting to stick to one another. Having even a modest frame to keep the rigidity of the fabric would be preferable. While you can notice the fold lines once installed, it's not really a problem. And the filtered light helps me focus and has reduced my eyestrain and headaches.

I feel students need good lighting for their eyes
These really make a huge difference in the classroom and they were not that expensive. I have about 20 fluorescent lights in my classroom, and frankly I have been having trouble sleeping for the past couple years. I found out this summer that the lights cause headaches in kids and messes with the sleep cycles. So, I purchased the blue one - 4 in a pack, and then alternated both Abilitations Cozy Shades and the Educational Insights Patterned ones throughout the room and we have softer light. The room feels cozier and they can still see well to do their work. Many teachers in my building are purchasing lamps or they work without lights. I feel students need good lighting for their eyes. I have a large room and would need too many lamps. These filters are great. They are easy to put up, safe, flame retardant and still provide enough working light. I'm sold. I wish it hadn't taken so long to find out about them.

Perfect for classrooms
I’ve seen plenty of these in all different styles. These I enjoy because it gives the room a natural “daylight” feel instead of the harsh light the fluorescents give off. Perfect addition to my classroom and for my students.

Works well
These were very easy to install. The magnets hold strong to the drop ceiling frames. As soon as I put them up I noticed a difference with the brightness of the fluorescent lights. It has definitely helped with headaches I used to get all the time.

Great deal for a good product.
I’ve bought several sets of these over the years for new co-workers. Always works well. I would suggest increasing side magnets to two on each side rather than one to keep fabric more taut.

Great for eyes
With long Covid…light is painful some days. Frequent headaches. This really does the trick. It soothes the light and creates a soft and tranquil ambiance to work in. Students like it.

Very easy to work with this product!
Found like as many other did that this product isn't cut to size for a standard 4 fluorescent tubes light box. As many others comments stated that it hangs between the magnets. I installed it inside the drop down cover and works perfectly!I had to move the material around inside the light cover but it fixed the issue of drippiness of the material between the magnets. And looks way better.

Work great to cut glare
Super easy to install, uses magnets. Although they work really well, they are a little ugly. But for the price they were our first choice, as the white are over x2 more.
