Best daily coffee
The first step is admitting that I am an addict, I do love a good cup of coffee, and I can’t really begin my day without it. Haha. For context, I use a Bunn pourover brewer that I’ve had for about 10 years but I don’t have the palette or the pretentiousness needed to be an expert. I ordered my most recent bag from Amazon (not a 3rd party) and it arrived still vaccuum-sealed with a “best if used by” date that is still 9 months away. All of that being said, while it isn’t the best coffee that I’ve ever had, Eight ‘O Clock coffee is a great, inexpensive, diner-like coffee. I often buy locally roasted coffee for weekends or whenever I want something a little more unique. For me, this ends up being better and cheaper anything that you’ll get at Starbucks. If you love coffee and brew it at home most days, you can’t beat this as a daily go-to.

BEST COFFEE - ONLY COFFEE THAT WORKS ON MY ESPRESSO MACHINE
Where do I begin. The price of it is absolutely phenomenal at five dollars a pound you can’t beat that deal. When I get coffee at five dollars a pound it’s usually oily crappy dark roast coffee that isn’t good. This coffee is a medium roast or dark roast. It’s a six out of 10 on the roast scale. When you look at the coffee it’s really clean with no young beans Earl beans all the beans are standardized. When you have different colored beans this means the coffee is cheap. This isn’t cheap coffee. Being from the state of New Jersey I’m proud to say this was roasted in my home state and they do a damn good job. This coffee is found in many bagel shops around New Jersey and New York. And Where do I begin. The price of it is absolutely phenomenal at five dollars a pound you can’t beat that deal. This coffee is found in many bagel shops around New Jersey and New York. And I am proud to drink it. I have tried at least 20 coffees on my SAECO Xsmall espresso machine. This machine is supersensitive and if the beans are too oily or dunk rain well even after adjusting the grind. The machine clogs up and then you have to take the whole machine apart. It’s one of the best espresso machines I’ve owned but it’s very selective on the kind of beans you want to use. I’ve tried 20 different brands going from coffee at $40 a pound to my local Winco store that sells five dollar pound of coffee bags which are oily and cheap. Out of all 20 coffees. Only two worked. PYK coffee and EIGNT O’CLOCK. Everything else clogs up the machine either it’s too oily or artificial flavors are added or the coffee is just cheap coffee and sold at a high price. I even used very overpriced $40 a pound Starbucks coffee from Rwanda and it clogged up the entire machine and the espresso tasted like garbage. I even tried a Starbucks blonde roast which is supposed to be a little dryer and it still clogged up the machine. Any Starbucks coffees that I used with clog up the machine and break it and I’ll have to replace parts. But this coffee 8 o’clock. Does the job. It doesn’t clog up the machine. It cooks really well. When the coffee PUCKS come out. They all together and they are in one piece where I can lift them up and feel them. Because of this you can tell the coffee is good. When are you Starbucks coffee or any other brand of the 18 brands I’ve tried The coffee would either break apart in the internal machines mechanism or it would break apart when dumped in the drop drawer. Which tells me the coffee is oily and low quality and it was roasted too high of a temperature and not slow roasted. Which this means the coffee was roasted at a high temperature and all the oil’s were pulled out when roasted meaning you don’t get a lot of caffeine and you get a crappy burnt cup of coffee like Starbucks. Even though this coffee is cheap don’t judge the price. The price is well priced for what you’re getting good quality cup of Joe nothing too crazy. And the people that say taste like mud those are the people that want to drink hazelnut latte is filled with a bunch of sugar and garbage artificial flavors. To describe it it’s a good cup of New Jersey coffee that you would have the bagel and cream cheese and it works amazing my espresso machine I’ve been on the hunt for a good coffee for the last three years and this is the one that really makes the deal. My espresso machine has pull 200 shots of this coffee and not once has a clogged up and not once have I had to replace a single part because of this espresso machines ability to use this great coffee.

Rich and Flavorful
I love this coffee! I blend it with a medium Ethiopian roast and the rich, dark undertones come through beautifully. The price is excellent, too!

Good quality coffee, strong aroma and taste. Good price, but better values may exist elsewhere
We like this coffee, which has a strong aroma and taste. Not too bitter and relatively smooth. Brews well in a coffee maker. With so many brands of dark roast coffee on the market, many of which are nearly the same, we decided to use price as a discriminator. This product's price is competitive with other dark roasted coffees, but you may find even better prices and better values with other brands / dark roasted coffee products.

Tastes Great at Great Price
I like dark, strong black coffee. I've tried a number of brands, Death Wish Valhalla Odinforce is a contender, but for taste and price point this is it. I really do like it best -- it's a secondary benefit that it's priced well. I use a grind and brew machine. Ultimately, coffee is personal -- there are light, medium, and dark roast people. If you're in the latter category, try this one.

Bad package
I'm sure this was an oversight on the shippers part but this last one shipped to me about a month ago wasn't sealed. My fiance is blind & wasn't sure if it was supposed to feel loose & thought maybe it was something else from all the things I order from Amazon so he placed it up on the top shelf were we keep our stock rotation. I saw it up there knowing it was the one shipped because I opened the last bag about 2 weeks prior. Not worrying about running out since it's on auto ship. About a week ago I had to pull the new bag out and lost some of the beans as I brought it down & thought maybe hubby pushed it up against something so without any other thought I started to use it, stored it in a food saver container (pulls all the air out of container for longer freshness) after a week trying to figure out why the coffee beans were dry & just not tasting right I checked the shelf to assure to move whatever it was that cut the bag only to find nothing but pouches nothing solid enough to bust the seal. Talked to hubby about my disappointment tasting coffee that's when he told me what he thought when he opened the box weeks earlier. Since we never talk about flavor/freshness disappointments much since we don't run across much of that it was never a second thought in his mind that he should have made it to my attention. So point is to check for seals/punctures personally unless they are aware of what to look for when your shipments come in. Thanks for the many fresh bags before this one. My auto ship notified me that it's time to start looking for my next bag. I'm excited to get fresh coffee beans and finally can put the rest of this up to grind for anting soil come planting season. ☕☕ REALLY CANT WAIT TILL THAT PERFECT TASTE & SMELL AGAIN!!! FROM GRIND TO DEVINE! 8 oClock Coffee is my secret to my young radiant glow person's compliment me on on a daily basis! Thanks 8 oClock Coffee people!

Love this coffee
This coffee is becoming harder and harder to find, especially at a reasonable cost. Hopefully we will be able to find it again.

Esta rico, pero lo siento caro
Es uno de los que más me ha gustado pero lo sentí un poco caro para el café de diario, si lo volvería a comprar sin duda para ocasiones especiales
