There were more good ratings on these batteries and value was a factor.
This brand of batteries were in the Jazzy Select Elite when we purchased the power chair and they lasted two years. After reading many reviews two years seems to be the average lifespan of these batteries. A good practice is to follow the directions on cycling these batteries, you will achieve longer run time and battery life. Charge four to five times in succession with operating the chair in between charges, you don't need to run the batteries all the way down but give it a good run. After the inital cycling break in you will charge the batteries twice a week for eight to fourteen hours and operating the chair often is good. A strict charging regiment will make all the difference on your run time and battery life.

All Better, Company Stands Behind Their Product!!! (was: Dead Less Than a Year later!)
UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE!!!I have changed my rating from one to five stars for their good, old-fashioned customer service, standing behind their product, and taking care of their customer.I made a claim in the warranty period and was treated very kindly and walked through the process of confirming the health of the batteries with a local shop, then sending that record to Mighty Max. Brittany was very professional and sent two new batteries to me. They came with a free 3-month warranty extension, of which I signed up.I truly hope these batteries serve us well and the old batteries were from a troubled manufacturing lot.--------------------------------------------------------(I have to warn all potential buyers to keep moving on. Maybe 99% will have good luck, but no one wants to be the 1% getting bad batteries that fail after the return period.I researched many batteries on Amazon for a Pride Jazzy Select 6 scooter and found these to be well reviewed. I needed to replace the 5+ year-old batteries that had been charged and recharged countless times, sometimes with a month or two between charges. They served admirably and deserved to be retired.. Ordering and shipping these batteries was fast and easy; installation was a breeze. I followed the instructions for charging. All was good for the initial use they were intended for. Then the scooter was parked and occasionally put on the charger over the winter. I went to set up the scooter for another summer trip, and nothing happened, no lights, no noise. Oops, let me plug in the charger. No lights indicating the scooter was taking a charge, and it never charged up. I put each battery on their own external charger until a full charge was indicated for both, but joystick showed low or no charge and wheels wouldn't turn. I put the chargers back on, propped the wheels off the ground, and tried again. Very little and slow moment only when the stronger 12 amp charger was hooked to the front battery, then shutdown. No movement when hooked to rear battery. On a hunch, I connected my car's battery to a scooter battery with jumpers, and everything worked perfectly. Hmm...So... Regardless of charge level indicated, there is low or no amperage left in these batteries, one worse than the other. Shameful! These batteries weren't neglected nor abused. In my case it's hard to say they would've failed within the warranty period, but a decent battery wouldn't have failed in my scenario...)

Terrific Batteries
We got these for my wife's power wheelchair, after the originals failed.I have to say, I am quite amazed at how well these batteries hold up in comparison to the originals provided with the chair from Jazzy. Hands down a better product, and the price point is a great deal.On the stock batteries that came with her chair new, she got maybe 4 hrs outside doing yard work and gardening, since I replaced the originals with these, she gets 1-2 full days between charges..........its amazing!Highly recommended!!

they work great--i'm getting about 3 years out of a pair
they batteries are great--work good-easy to install--what else can I say--using them in a electric scooter--I use the scooter for car shows & swap meets, plus some yard work when walking is needed--my only problem is trying to pay for them--Amazon really test's its customers, makes me loose my sense of humor--I've already lost my hair & my good looks--thanks Tom

Battery Dies in less than 3 months
I bought this product 3x for my wife's motorized wheelchair (Drive Medical), It comes with two batteries, and none of them lasted more than three months. One set lasted a little over a month. I am writing this review because the batteries were dying the last time I bought this product which was in June, and we're in mid-August now. When I first bought them, they will last over a day fully charged. Believe me when I say my wife uses her chair. We live in NYC, and she uses it to do everything. She will be out pretty much all day and comes back home, and it's still fully charged. As of now, a full charge for the batteries will last about 3 hours and she is not happy. So, I give this four stars. because it doesn't last long.

Great, long lasting batteries, excellent price.
We bought these for my Jazzy power chair. It comes with the hardware needed to mount the battery to the chair which was great because the screws to the old battery were lost. It's been over a month now batteries last a while. Just being around the house, I can go about a week without having to charge. Will definately order again if ever needed.

Short Lifetime - Don't Buy
DON'T BUY THESES BATTERIES FOR A SCOOTER!!!We purchased these batteries just over a year ago for use in my handicapped wife's scooter (set of 2).Scooter battery Life was decreasing, so I tested them using a 4 ohm power resistor (very close to C/10 rate test for 35 a-hr battery). After just over 12 months, the ACTUAL capacity was just over 12 amp-hr!?!?...and yes, I DID give them an overnight charge before testing. No wonder the scooter was loosing power. The charger is the built-in scooter charger which IS working properly - previous batteries last around 3 years before weakening this much. I checked the individual voltages of each battery during charge (charged as 24V since this is a 24V scooter - as are most). The problem appears to be that the pair of batteries were no longer matched to properly work in series. One of the batteries has weakened significantly: one registered 13.1V and the measured 13.7V (26.8V total).A handicapped person cannot risk being stranded by such a poor quality product!
