First, I want to rate the seller - 5 stars. I had initially received the wrong size. I initiated a return immediately. Within minutes I received notification of a replacement being shipped. Excellent customer service!The hat I rate at 3 stars. It is reasonably well made - no loose threading or leather coming apart. The leather is of decent quality.One thing I don't like is that there is visible marking on the underside of the brim, made by a fabric/garment marker, but I can probably work it out. Aesthetically, it's a little disappointing. The seam on the back is not centered, and the metal buckles that ornament the leather band on the outer brim are not set correctly - the rear buckle is set on the seam, so it is off-center, the side buckles are also asymmetrical.The other thing I'm disappointed with is that even with having received the correct size (XL - 61cm), it's a little snug. 61cm is 24 inches, which is what I measured my head to be, so it could just be normal fluctuation with the leather. I have a brim stretcher, so hopefully that will stretch it sufficiently. I'll get some oil to condition it as it stretches.

Very happy. This is totally me. This is the Official RoadTrip Eddie hat. Quality is very impressive. Thick heavy hide. Holds it's shape perfectly. I rcvd compliments the 1st day from strangers. :-) I'm ordering 2 more for backups for later on in life. EDIT: The band (that covers a seam) was a little loose, came unglued, in spots, it's a super easy fix if you think. A pin, or a staple wire hidden under a metal pin on the band will work. Happy with all of them I ordered

Me and my husband were not the big hat lovers until the last September when I bought the same medium red hat for him as a gift.He loved that hat and always kept it with him while traveling and got many compliments about it.But lost the hat about a month ago, so I decided to gift him this black one.The hat was little out of shape when I got it (probably due to shipping) but the shapeable wire made it super easy to get the hat back in shape.The leather quality and stitching are well made better than the previous one and have small grains on it which give it that Hashmat look. The seller must have improved on it. The inner band gives the good grip in the hair and hat gets fit easily even if its little loose. The Chin cord is to detachable and attachable according to the need. The hat band and all the buckles are attached at perfect angle and their rusty color makes them prominent and attractive.The size of that hat is perfect and comfortable according to the size chart.I plan on buying another red one for and me and my husband will have a pair of red & black for road trips.The love of other customers for the hat is clearly visible in reviews as one reviewer mentioned Official Road Trip Eddie hat. The hat is great value for the money.The delivery was on time and exceeded my expectations. Would definitely recommend and buy again.

I was so excited to get this as it was my birthday gift to myself. Unfortunately it is a complete mess and unwearable. First, it came in a mailer bag with 4 other items offering no protection for the hat. The entire brim was folded under and tucked unto the crown causing the wire to crimp in places and the leather of the brim to have weird bulges, this had to have been done at shipping because it was too precise. When I tried to straighten the brim I realized the crown is not set right in the brim, the "point" on the front is point about 2 inches to the side giving the crown a weird tilted bulgy thing happening. While checking it out I realized my finger was sticking to the hat band which is also not centered on the middle of the hat. Turns out the hat band has globs of glue under it and was separating from the hat that doesn't matter too much because the entire had was put together wrong creating a bent, twisted, bulging mess from tip to top. Maybe its because of how badly it was constructed but the thing looks really weird on, almost like the crown about 2 inches too tall for the brim but it was I couldn't pull it down further than mid forehead because the top of my head was at the top of the hat (plus it bulges to one side).I am absolutely disappointed and will be starting the return today.

I have been collecting Western gear for a while and have some amazing antique hats. These are obviously not antique but they are leather, a nicely decorated band, and sits low on me which I like. I normally wear a large, but these run small so I exchanged for an xl. Perfect. You can always get the foam stick'ums if a little large. But I am loving this..Blessingsr. moshe

Very comfortable and correct size. I am 7 5/8 hat size and their X-large size was spot on. I had trouble with a Stetson hat I also bought from Amazon the same time whose X-large was more like a large and a couple cm smaller than this hat and didn't fit. I gave it to a friend. I used to go to a real hat store in Manhattan where I could try on the hats, so sizes being accurate are very important. Well made and cool.

The hat is perfect it is amazing my head size is a 58 so I got the medium but it is too small so I'm going to get the large which is a 60 cm and hopefully that'll be perfect but the hat is amazing perfect quality it's exactly what I needed.The replacement hat showed up today and it is a perfect fit. Go with your letter size not your number size.

I'd like to stress that this is not a winter hat, but nor is any hat of this style. Good product, fit is just right for my larger head. With normal wear, the leather only takes a day or so to break-in. After said day, you'll need to carry your six shooter. Sometimes there's no other way to curb the deluge of potential lovers piling up in your path.
