The item I received from Amazon is the real deal. I also received it in perfect shape (there’s some makeup dust on the cover when I first opened it but it’s a very tiny amount and the palette itself is intact). It retails for about $45 in a typical makeup store like Sephora or Ulta.Ok about the product itself. I’m no makeup pro so I have only used this palette on several occasions when I wanted to do a little bit of contouring and highlighting. With the right kind of brushes, the only cream product called “shade” (bottom left) is very easy to apply and blend. The one next to it called “sculpt” is a matte bronzer, equally easy to apply and blend (I also used this shade on to fill in my friend’s light brow brows). With my Mac setting spray, the contour and highlight lasted over 8 hours.I have medium skin and all of the colors in here are useful. The ones I do not use for contour and highlight, I ended up using as bronzer and eye shadow. There’s a ton of YouTube tutorials for this palette that give it great reviews. I don’t think I’ve run into a review that didn’t think this palette is at least decent. As long as you do not end up with a fake or a broken one, I think you’ll really enjoy this product.

It arrived well wrapped, and was then transported several thousand miles in airline luggage, arriving in perfect shape. My friend reports herself quite pleased and impressed with the product, and she's using it on a daily basis. She has experimented with all of the six shades in the package, and while she has her favorite, she reports herself pleased with all six. She's so impressed and happy with this, I'll be reordering for her.
