All these woods are very good. I have smoked, fish, turkey, pork, beef cheese, and vegetables. I am very happy with the results. I like the alder wood best

It works ok in an electric oker, but does not want to stay lit and smoking.

Great material for cold smoking!
This was an assortment pack, great for trying different smoky flavors. I'm experimenting with different wood flavors for spices, so this is a great place to start.This product is easy to use, fill smoker box and light, that easy!
