Neither produce description nor mfr pdf sheet indicated amount of square feet effectively covered with one can - any educated guesses out there?

Its really going to depend on what the surface porosity and texture is of what you are bonding is. I got coverage of about 16 square feet per can, attaching a rough surface rubber backed burlap, to a coarse surface fiberglass roving boat interior ceiling. It took a lot of glue, to build a coating thick enough to get good contact between the two surfaces. That said, it worked great!

I have a small area of headliner falling down just above the windshield. I want to re-attach the old headliner to the substrate. Will this work?

Yes that's also what I had happening. Just be sure to tape off the windshield and any other area that might get overspray & wipe away old dried up head board particles that are loose and possibly still on the headliner itself. This stuff is super sticky adhesive so get it right the first try.

Will this bond on contact or will I be able to reposition the headliner material if necessary?

It doesn't bond immediately, you can re-position for a few minutes. It works really well as long as the surface is fairly clean. It bonds well.

I need to reattach some leather/vinyl that is peeling from my car doors. Will this attach leather/vinyl to the plastic underneath?
