Super sharp, well-balanced
Very nice and very sharp knife. I had to do a bit of online research about the different types of steel, and I knew I should get a knife made from VG10 steel. This thing lives up to the expectations, with a Rockwell hardness of 62 and improved corrosion resistance. The handle is made from G10, which is practically indestructible. This is a knife you should take care of. Certainly do not ever put it in the dishwasher. Keep it dry, and if you start to see rust, use a bit of oil. If you want a knife that's completely rust resistant, just know that stainless steel doesn't hold an edge as well as VG10.The knife comes in an exceptionally nice case that my daughter immediately confiscated. The price is also right at $45. Most similar knives are in the $70-$150 range.*** If you liked my review, please consider clicking the “Helpful” button. I try to do a good job on all reviews, and appreciate your votes. Best knife you'll ever own for less than a $150!!
I own over 20 knives, Including Kershaw Shun.I would consider myself a highly informed user, I would have to say this is the best knife in my entire collection. For $40 this is a steal.I have had this knife for over a year now. I take good care of it. VG10 blades must be cared for knives with a Rockwell rating of 62 are brittle and should not be used to crunch bone. Use a proper plastic cutting board. Some reviewers complained about rust. This will not happen if you clean and dry the knife with each use.

Chipped
I bought this knife for a friend at work wanting a better knife than the ones we are supplied with, I was weary of buying a knife under 100 dollars but I figured it's better than what he has, it came in the mail and when I unboxed the knife the blade protectors where off the blade and in the box and the tip was a chip in it but no sign of the tip in the box besides this the knife is share and nicely balanced but the saying is true you get what you pay for.

Sharp, balanced, worth the price.
Pros:The knife feels solid and has a good balance to it.It's super sharp first thing out of the box.Does it's job perfectly.Cons:If you look at the fine details close to the cutting edge there are some small dents/cosmetic damage (you can see one in the photo). It isn't super close to the cutting edge and I don't expect to get down to it any time soon from sharpening. Now that I know they are there it's going to bother me. Doesn't effect the performance of the knife and it's barely noticeable.
