Just Me and My Dad (Little Critter)

We had the just me and my mom book so we gotThe just me and my dad bookThey are cute books, I enjoy reading them to my daughter.I wouldn't suggest these to a family that doesn't have "traditional gender rolls" as the mom book is about the kid being dragged around for shopping and the dad book is about doing guy stuff like fishing and tipping the cannoe.I am one to drag someone around all day for shopping, and my husband bought our daughter a fishing pole when she was 1 so it was accurate to our lives.

I don’t get this book and I don’t understand all the 5 star reviews. Maybe because I got the paperback version? This book doesn’t really have the story, it’s just dry and very short sentences. Very few too. Only positive is that is very colorful and that does get my toddlers attention.

This book came perfectly package in great condition will definitely buy again I have 5-year-old learning to read and he loves the series of books. They're simple to understand. They're easy for young children to follow along. they're easy to read. They follow a nice simple three sentences max per line page there is sometimes a rhyming scheme to help with learning to read. The pictures help children to understand and tell the story. They're not too long and they're not too short so you can get a read or two out and then he's out for the night they also tend to have good lessons in them for just teaching kids how to behave and be good kids. There are good morals in it. It is great to see that there are books to encourage and foster a good relationship between Fathers & Sons. We need more books like this out there.

This book is really sweet. Its all about going camping and fishing and just being outdoors with dad. My husband read it to our 4 year old son and it was so precious watching them snuggle and share a bedtime story. Its a nice bonding book for father and child. It is not gender specific so I think this would be cute for boys and girls to read to their dad.

My 21 month old son loves when I read this book to him. I'm not sure if it's the pictures or the content, but he loves it. When it's time for bed this is always one of the books he grabs for me to read.As for the adult opinion, I think it's a fun, simple book for getting the camping bug into your child at an early age. Each page only had one or two sentences so it's great for my 1 year old, but too simple for my 4 year old.
