I just received this carrier and it only took me less than 3 minutes from out of the box to setting it up! The color is of a rich navy blue and the size I bought for my large cat was a medium and guess what?...it's a perfect size for him!! Plenty of room to stand up, turn around & stretch out in!I will be able to carry this with ease while he's in it because it's not bulky or oversized and will fit perfectly in the back or front seat of my car.The carrier is sturdy because it has a metal frame enclosed in the bottom and sides of it and I had no trouble hooking the other metal tubing located at the top on each side and it came with a fluffy mat that looks & feels comfy to the touch!I put a trail of small crunchy treats that lead up to the carrier and on into it because of him being a feral cat who's still very skittish around people and objects he's not familiar with and he followed the line of the treats right into the carrier as unafraid like..."Ahh, this is nothing!" An E.T. Cat has been born!...lol! Now I'm sure this will work out just fine!!I can now make an appointment for a trip to the vet to have him neutered...he's not going to like the outcome of the trip but at least he will be comfortable getting there and coming home and will probably recuperate in this carrier! Poor fella! :-(I will do an update review on this carrier after I have had the chance to put it to use but as for right now...I am so pleased with this carrier!Very impressed! My 10 year old cat has never cared for boxes or enclosures of any kind. The carrier got here a four days ago and has been occupying the middle of the living room to allow her to get used to it. After the initial investigations, she paid it no mind until tonight. Now the paws are tucked, and I think it's a winner.Assembly was a little tough. As several reviews have mentioned, the hinged bars that create the tension to hold the carrier's shape seem too long. They overlap by several inches, but cutting them was not needed. The bars should be brought together (with the springloaded handle pulled back) and then gentle but firm pressure pushing down. This fully extends the structure of the box. The end result feels very sturdy... and her royal highness seems to like it! In a week we'll take our roadtrip and hopefully the end result will be a less stressed kittah.

This 'pawsitively' amazing carrier may be labelled for a dog, however I bought it for my overweight cat...Trying to stuff him into a conventional hard sided carrier thru the tiny door, has become too traumatic for both of us. This Mr. Peanuts carrier has top loading capability with zip around; have you ever tried dropping a huge cat into a carrier, putting the lid on while trying to keep with latch door in position and then align all the peg holes to lock the top to the bottom? I know you have!!! You don't need to anymore....two poles inside slip into each other (if I can do that anyone can) and carrier is ready to go. This carrier holds a 50lb (Max) pet and has amazingly spacious interior with a machine washable faux fleece insert. We have another vet trip tomorrow...I'm telling you this is such a weight off my shoulders and heart. Worth every penny..

Very pleased with this carrier! Lightweight, durable, and collapsible, although somewhat difficult putting frame together (would help if instructions were included). My cats HATE going to the vet and I always had difficult time getting them into my old plastic carrier. When this one arrived I put it together and left it out in the open for a few days before the first cat's vet appt. I sprinkled a little cat nip in the back of carrier to coax cat inside, and of course it worked (I used this same plan each time one of my cats had a vet appt). The cats also took turns napping inside this carrier. They still hate going to the vet but they seem less stressed in this carrier. Great product, highly recommend!

Nice heavy canvas material and good quality. I marked it down one star because it's crazy hard to put together. It feels like you're going to tear or break it trying to insert the plastic support rods. I had to look online for a video to be sure I wasn't trying to do it wrong. But it is good quality and now that it's together I like it, I just won't take it apart.

Our puppy outgrew his Sherpa carrier. We needed something big enough for him but small enough to fit in a car. He still has some growing to do, but this looks like it will fit him once he's full size at 25 lbs and 14 inches high. It fits just fine in the middle seat of a car.

I just love Mr. Peanut's dog carriers. They are so well made. I have purchased them several times for myself, as well as friends. The larger one I have as lived through many puppies trying to tear it to smithereens without so much as a flaw. So, it is Jack Russell approved and that says A LOT! Jack's are extremely smart. If they can't rip it, they'll go get a pair of scissors. :-)

Very sturdy little carrier. The only issue we had was getting it together - it took two of us to get the top poles to fit, but once together, very tight & sturdy.
