Showed up really fast and very easy to install

First one was defective. Just got the replacement one for it and we'll install it later this week.

Bought this when the icemaker wasn't getting any water but the water dispenser worked just fine (no solenoid continuity). Switched it out and the icemaker filled up right away. I then noticed an initial sputter when depressing the water dispenser button and upon releasing the button it trickled for 10 seconds before shutting off. Replacement unit arrived almost immediately and I eagerly opened the plastic amazon bag only to see a broken flange from an out-port floating around in the package. As disappointing as it is, it's more of a commentary on Amazon's use of a plastic bag for shipping, which is grossly inadequate for shipping an electromechanical component like this.

The ice maker makes ice cubes now, but the water dispenser doesn’t shut off when the lever is released.

Make sure you do a complete defrost e.g unplug for 24 hours. The water lines will remain frozen if this unit failed.
