Monoi Tiare Tahiti(Gardenia) Bar Soap 4.55 Ounces

Ich kann den Hype absolut nicht nachvollziehen und der Preis ist mehr als nur überteuert: Als ich das Päckchen geöffnet habe, kam mir schon der typische Seifengeruch entgegen! Nichts mit Urlaub, Tahiti o.ä. Ich kenne andere "Monoi Tahiti" Produkte und habe sowohl Duschgel als auch ein Eu de Toilette sowie Öl in dieser Duftrichtung für den Sommer, was mich in Urlaubsstimmung versetzt. Aber das hier riecht in keinster Weise danach, sondern einfach nur penetrant nach Seife. Schade, denn ich wäre gerne von der Plastikverpackung weggekommen und auf Seife umgestiegen.

I first found this product while vacationing in Tahiti and loved it. Bought bars of this soap for myself and everyone I knew. This was several years ago, so I’d forgotten about it. So when I found it again, I was thrilled! This is the same soap sold everywhere in Tahiti so I couldn’t wait to get it.I’m so very happy to find it! The scent is amazing! It has a nice silky feeling on your skin and rinses well.It’s moisturizing but not greasy.I love it!

One of my favorite soaps was a tiare scent but it was discontinued. I bought this as a trial substitute but sent back because of the smell. It was extremely potent and just had that fake artificial scent. I can't comment on anything else but will say packaging was nice and had it delivered quickly.

I was recommended this soap during an acne breakout. It smells FANTASTIC and the scent lingers after you walk out of the shower. It is not too strong or overpowering, just a very light floral gardenia scent that is just lovely. It has definitely helped my acne-prone skin, and I will recommend it to anyone because of the scent!

It smells lovely! Sniffing the bar directly makes me sneeze, but on my skin the scent is light & stays the whole day. Unfortunately, it's drying, even on my oily skin. Not sure if I will purchase again, I may just stick to the oil itself.Just an FYI, Tiaré is a type of gardenia, but does not have the same scent as the Common/White Gardenia, which is used to fragrance most 'Gardenia' bath & beauty products. IMO, Tiare is very sweet, almost fruity-smelling, in the same way Frangipani (Plumeria) or Honeysuckle can be. If you want tropical, Tiaré or "Tahitian Gardenia" is this one. If you are looking for the typical, White Gardenia scent, try Body Shop or Caswell-Massy.
