Very impressed with the quality of scissor for the price,the zipper kit fell apart quickly, the hair apron let hair through. Overall was happy with it for the price. 4.5 stars

First, I love my hair stylist but after the COVID Pandemic Hit and she could restart, her prices went up for special requirements to be met. My Personal "Party Cartoonist" Business was also shutdown but must be restructured for an internet market (still no crowds events), and that is requiring all of any available funds I have to use. This kit doesn't "teach" this proud new owner how to use it for hair cutting and styling but it will help me keep my hair out of my eyes.This kit is perfectly sized for my smaller hands and can be easily cleaned and adjusted. I can actually do some trimming of my hair style and help myself look presentable, between my appointments. The scissors are sharp enough not to damage the hair follicles. The thinning shears and included comb worked good enough to control my 13 "cowlick" whirls when my hair growth gets too dense. Again, enough to manage but not enough to damage my style, which normally is quite short.This review is for those, like me, who now are using all available income for food - home prepared. This styling kit will last and is easy to store in its bag. The hair catcher cape may not last long with little squirmy children, but I'm an adult, so I will have this to use for a good long time. This will never replace my Professional Stylist but I don't want to look like a looney cartoon character in between appointments either, although I do perform in clown face makeup occasionally.I'd buy this again for gifts for my friends, and plan to when I have my income source back.

The media could not be loaded. These are some good tools. I like the thinning shears the most. Absolutely love it. The scissors work good as well. The razor comb is very flimsy. I didn’t like the quality of that item. But overall everything else is good. I don’t like how the rubber things inside the scissors pops out a lot. Just better to take them out completely. I wish the scissors were a little bigger because my fingers get caught in it, maybe because I have stubby fingers lol. So it isn’t that comfortable to hold.

You get what you pay for

Just really wanted the texturing sheers but I'm thrilled to have good sharp scissors and love the cape. I would never have purchased one - just didn't think it was necessary - but now that I have one I love it. No mess. The texturing sheers are awesome and work perfect! First time ever using them on my thick hair and it was simple. There are videos are youtube if you need a tutorial. Great little package.

I find this haircut kit reliable and does the job more than I expect for someone like me who is trying to DIY cutting hair. I have yet to try the blade/comb like piece for next hair cut session with my husband to trim off the sides of his hair. It is really sharp and easily cuts off and level the hair. I was able to shorten my hair within few minutes with less noticeable rough edges given it is my first time cutting my own hair.
