Does it have a ( What do they call it? ) kill switch? to change an instrument live without fear of speaker popping or having to lower your stage volum

Mogami does make a series of "silent" cables that allow quiet switching between instruments--they have a red cover on the switch end. This particular cable isn't one of those. I know this question is a little old, but, in case someone else is wondering the same thing, just thought I'd add the info.

Does this fit old telecasters from 50's and 60's? I'm worried that it doesn't go deep enough until the plug clicks. thanks

No I don’t think it would. But, it sends a great signal to the amp. No need some type of noise resistor pedal, or it could be shielding problems. Or a myriad of other things.
