Great idea and the fish have learned to come here for their feeding.When fish come to eat food does not stay in the circle and ends up coming into filter. I have small and larger Koi. This may work better if have only smaller fish

This ring needs to be a little thicker, to keep the food from spilling out when the always hungry fish attack it. I still have to turn off the filter pump while the fish finish their meal, since the they force much of the food out of the ring and it gets sucked into the skimmer.

First, the tubing the feeding ring is made of is not 1" in diameter. Secondly, if there is any movement in the water the ring simply allows the food to scatter across the surface of the pond. To me it was a waste of money.

We bought this to contain the flake food for our smaller koi in the pond, to give them a more protected place to feed while the larger fish are busy and messily gobbling up pellet foods. It initially worked perfectly for that job, and the little fish quickly learned to go to it as we started the feeding. All of the above is perfect and exactly what we hoped for. The trouble is, it has developed a sag on one side so the food inside the ring has been drifting out. We're not sure why yet (did it get bent from being hung up on a peg between uses, or is it getting waterlogged, hard to say so far). For now we're making sure to store it flat between uses. It's very floppy which is fine, but a little heavy so it sits low in the water. If this was lighter and floated higher it would probably resist drooping down below the surface.

This is a scamp!!! A piece of vanilla pipe joined with another small pipe at the edge. Anyone can do this with junk, and they ask $24?!! It also don’t work as koi can raise with no effort freeing the food. Don’t buy or you will be scammed!

Not work for Koi pond. Better I make by myself feeding ring
