This is a really simple belt but it is the kind I like the best. These belts can be easily adjusted and use a canvas and teeth system versus the prong and hole or clip and belt with plastic teeth. The advantage of these belts are that you can make micro adjustments. With a traditional belt the tightness of the belt always falls between 2 holes. Say you need to adjust the belt because you ate a big meal its awkward, takes a long time and the next hole over might be too big. These teeth belts allow you every length in between which is great. Adjusting the length is also as easy as pulling up on the clasp and adjusting the belt, its takes literally 2 seconds. The canvas prevents the teeth from slipping and these last a while. I have a nike brand belt of the same design and I have been using it for yours. This belt looks almost exactly identical and works in the exact same way. The only difference is when the clasp is down on this belt there are two protrusions on the top and bottom that keep the belt closed. I purchased this canvas belt in the gray color. I like a canvas belt because they are so versatile, especially in getting the right fit. With traditional belts, you are restricted to wearing them in the pre-punched holes. If you gain or lose weight, your belt might not fit. Even eating a big meal can render your belt uncomfortable but loosening it a while notch might make it too lose. So I like this style of belt because it can be adjusted just where you need it.This gray canvas belt is great for casual wear. It looks great with jeans or casual trousers. The gray matches with just about any color top or shoe so it can be worn with just about any outfit. The belt itself is a nice tightly woven canvas so it doesn't seem cheap or overly casual. It's thick enough to lay flat and not roll up or come loose with wear.The clasp of this belt is really great. It's a slightly shiny silver that complements the belt well. It grips tightly and doesn't let the belt move once it's adjusted. It was a little tight to open the clasp when I first got this, but with a few uses, it's loosed up just enough that I don't have to pull so hard. But it's holding its place just right.This is just a nice, versatile, casual belt that does a good job and looks nice. I definitely recommend it. I have to be honest and say I was very disappointed with this belt. I ordered it for my husband because he loves the color orange and it looked like a great little casual belt. When the belt arrived and I started opening the package I was excited because the color was as bright and vibrant as I had hoped but as soon as I got the plastic cover off, it was down hill from there. The fabric of the belt, while being a great color, was dirty! It has spots of dark brown, like dirt, and stains as if it had been previously used...I was actually pretty grossed out. I figured I could wash it so I kept an open mind and moved on to checking out the buckle and I was disappointed again. The first thing I noticed was the quality was very poor, the "metal" was very light and flimsy like cheap plastic. Worst of all....the inside of the buckle had RUST on it! Yes, rust as if it had been sitting somewhere for years without use. The only reason I even gave it two stars is because it was at least usable, meaning the buckle did work. I did not keep the belt, it has since been donated. I had really hoped for better result because it looks super cute in the picture.Ordered this belt at a discounted rate for an honest and accurate review.

It's hard to expect much from a canvas belt advertised as simply as this one was. When I received it, I was pleased at what I saw. No frills or unnecessary design flourishes. This is exactly the type of belt I needed. Nothing fancy, just something to hold my pants up and not draw the wrong kind of attention. The buckle is made of a plain metal finish. I think it will hold up very well. I have canvas belts just like this that are working great after 15 years.The end is protected with a metal finish just like the buckle. This will ensure the ends don't fray. It was packaged in a simple plastic wrap.
