Amazing! A holy-grail for my surgery-ridden and cataract eyes!
Omg, these things are a holy grail!I've had several eye surgeries that have left my poor eyeballs SO sensitive to light. Also, at work I stare at a computer screen for 8 hours AND have disgusting harsh fluorescent lights blaring down on me from up above. I feel like a spotlight is shining on me all day! It affects both my vision and my well-being. I am so headache-y and dry-eyed and miserable when the day is done - but I suppose a portion of that malaise can be attributed to the monotonous stupidity of my job. But I digress.I have noticed an instanteous and extreme difference in how I FEEL and how well I can SEE at work while wearing these stylish, cute eyestrain glasses!1) Firstly, the price can't be beat. I suppose the blue-blocking/eyestrain glasses all use the same material, so why pay more for an expensive pair? I feel like these must do the same job as the more expensive pairs do. And they're nice and sturdy.2) They're stylish! I mean, 90% of that probably is me and MY unbearable cuteness, but these things look great! Co-workers have commented how cute they are.3) Blue blocking glasses NEED to be yellow. But I dislike the look of visibly tinted glasses. I'd feel like a gross old hippie or John Lennon if they were REALLY noticeably tinted. But these lenses, while definitely yellow when compared to white, don’t look yellow against skin tone. The tinting is really subtle. It took a week of one coworker looking at my face all week to ask "Wait, are your glasses tinted yellow?"4) Comes with a nice zippered case and lens cleaning cloth. Very handy. All in all, these are great! Great price, great quality, stylish and soothes my poor aching eyes as I sit in a chair and labor at something I don't want to do for eight hours a day for the rest. OF. MY. LIFE. Ah well, at least with these glasses I'll look cute doing so!

Good for the price
The frame is light-weight, so you barely notice that you are wearing it, but you do need to treat it with respect to prevent breakage. The lens has a slight amber tint, which makes the computer screen appear a little yellow/orange. This is a part of how it filters the blue light. Since I do not do any graphic work, this slight tint does not bother me. It also appears to have a coating that reflects blue light, which increases the effectiveness of these glasses. You can see the blue glare when you hold the glasses at angle. Unfortunately, this coating is on both sides of the lens, so light from behind you or to the side could potentially be reflected into your eyes. I often wonder about the placebo effect of many computer glasses, but given both the filtering amber tint and the blue reflective coating, it is probably reducing the blue light reaching my eyes. It does not filter 100% of blue light ( if it did, you will probably start falling asleep after 2 hours). Blue light during the day is needed for alertness. I use this at work to reduce eye strain. At night, I use Uvex glasses which block 99% blue light to help me fall asleep. These glasses fail the online tests because they are not meant to block 100% of blue light. I suspect that they may reduce blue light by about 30%, but I have no way to measure that. Overall, I am happy with my purchase. I'll probably buy another, but with a different frame for variety.

They work but... a little too yellow and not quite effective
So I'm editing this review completely because I have new information. Previously, I tried to use an online blue light filter screen test. These glasses didn't work according to the test. But these also don't come with a blue light testing card so there was no other way for me to check. However, the screen test isn't accurate because the new glasses I got from a different brand (ANRRI) also didn't work with it. The new glasses came with a testing card so I used that and got a much better result. I took videos of an attempted 5-second hold of blue light for each of the glasses (I know the card says 2 seconds at 3 cm but that doesn't allow for a good comparison). Unfortunately I can only upload 1 video per review, so if you search the ANRRI glasses you can maybe find the other video in my review there. Here I tried to instead take a picture with and without the glasses. The conclusion was that these did not do as well as the other brand. And they're just too noticeably yellow! They are cheaper, but I guess you're paying for different quality. They ANRRI glasses are bigger but they have smaller options so I'm actually going to try to get an exchange anyway. Also I didn't see anything that's anti-glare about either of the glasses. Otherwise, both are lightweight and come with a case. So overall, these do work to block some blue light and this company is decent enough to refund the order as I'm returning them. Just to note, mine were not prescription.

Excellent, saved my eyes
As always, I was weary buying these with the various reviewers, but these things TOTALLY work. Don't fear them not working. I have been straining my eyes day in and day out for about 14 h a day for about 17 years, constantly reading/writing/editing on my computer. Last couple of years I've had major eye issues, having to "stretch" them (roll them around, move from side to side, up and down) and rubbing them, etc, them watering and often getting headaches, and so on. Somehow these are like putting little Magic Goggles on. They work 100%. Not once I have had these problems again wearing these things. I'm astonished actually, I didn't expect to notice the difference so much. When I forget to them on, suddenly I feel that strain again and I'm like -- oh! shoot! not using my glasses!! -- I put them on and voila, feel good again. I can't believe they're so cheap! I hope they never stop selling them b/c if something happens to these I will order another pair... then another... forever. All this said, they do take some getting used to... feel a bit weird, can't explain how really, before you forget you're wearing them and your eyes "adjust" to the new "light environment" streaming into them. Once you're eyes adjust, don't notice them but you'll eventually notice how your eyes are WAY better off with these things on....Oh, and about the cleaning. People are insanely lazy about cleaning all glasses and will use a shirt or paper towel or even a microfiber cloth on them and scratch them to shreds -- because they didn't use SOAP AND WATER first. All glasses, no matter what the price, will scratch if you don't wash the tiny little rocks (known as dust) off of them. Like any other spectacles on Earth, if you wash these first with soap and water (or if you like the cleaner spray, use that), and then dry them with a microfiber cloth, you're good to go. No smudges, clean, never scratched. Same with these.

Helps with glare; happy with the price
I work in quality assurance, spending 40 hours a week staring at a computer. Over the past year, I've developed extremely dry eyes, and it felt like I was having trouble moving from focusing up close to further away (I am only 28, so I don't suspect I should need bifocals for a few years yet). I decided to give these glasses a shot. For the price, why not?Pros:- Price: you can try computer glasses out to see if they help at all, without forking over a ton of money- Effectiveness: I still experience dryness, but using these glasses takes away the glare from the screen and makes it easier to read. Therefore, I won't be staring so hard and will be blinking more, which should help reduce the dryness.- Style: for a cheap, generic frame, these look pretty stylish. I'm pleased.Cons:- Quality: the frame isn't anything heavy-duty, so be very careful with it. But I didn't expect anything more at this price point! Some people complain that the lenses are impossible to clean with the cloth they provide: as a lifetime glasses wearer, I you need to spray glasses cleaner onto the lenses and then use the cloth. I tried without the cleaner, and couldn't get them clean. With the cleaner, they cleaned up just like any other pair of glasses. So I suspect that people who complain about being unable to get the lenses clean are new to glasses-wearing.Overall, these glasses didn't solve ALL my problems, but they DO help, and for the price-point, I'm quite satisfied.
