Wood Suit Hanger with Locking bar, Distressed Gray, Set of 30

Strong, sturdy, great looking and NOT cheaply made. Holds suit jackets and pants perfectly which is what they are made for. These should last forever. You should think twice if you plan on using these for shirts because the wire hangers are cheaper and work just as well. For pants and suits jackets? Grab these in a heartbeat.

I want to start off my review by letting you know that I am reviewing this product as a normal hanger and not a suit hanger since it does not look well made enough. For a normal hanger to hang everyday shirts and pants, these will do just fine.First off, the looks: they look nice with a glossy finish over the wood and haven't seen any signs of wear after a few months of use. I bought these because of the wooden look to replace a few of my older plastic ones and I have to say that these do look better; I do wish that they were more of a natural finish since I am not a big fan of the gloss.Next is the utility of the hanger. As I mentioned before, I did not use these for my suits since they looked a lot cheaper than the usual cedar hangers that I use. But for my normal chinos and oxfords, these definitely do their job. They hang my clothes and I have no complaints.I am only taking a star off since they call themselves suit hangers but do not look like they would do a good job doing so.

I've had a little use with the hangers and I bought 2 sets at the same time. First set couldn't really get the pants hanger part to work but on the second set it seems fine.. I think the rods are a bit too long in the first set i got, so I see where the other reviews claim they were defective.. it's clearly manufactured differently or guessing at lengths when cutting. The rods don't appear to be standardized to a certain length. Otherwise shirts hang on them just fine.

Exactly what I expected and wanted. EXCEPT one of them arrived broken. I ordered 3 sets and am considering ordering more, but will probably try to send the broken one back. It's just so difficult to return something like this because they expect you to return the whole set of 5 when only one is broken. Idk for sure what I'll do. I really do want more though, so I can throw out all of the plastic ones in my husbands closet.

Hard to believe wooden hangers could be made so cheaply. Within one use, two are already broken. On one, the metal where it attaches to the wooden underneath the hanger sheered off. The wood itself is half the thickness of normal wooden hangers. They are straight, not curved; something I never though to question. The hook is small sized, not made for US-sized closet rods. Barely fits. Often force has to be applied to get it to go around the closet rod.The second hanger was damaged when the "locking bar" was fitted so tightly, I couldn't manage to free it without breaking.All in all...very shoddy. Silly me...I thought all wooden hangers must be fairly similar. Now I know.

These are very nice for the price. Would recommend purchase ***UPDATE: I would NOT recommend these hangers. Once in gentle regular use, the metal hangers pulled out of the wood. I was able to superglue them back in, however, this takes away the ability to pivot.***

Used these to make my own wedding dress and bridesmaids dress hangers. I love the dark wood, it looks so pretty with the white ribbon and natural wood letters/numbers I used. The one thing I did not care for was the silver ends that hold the bar on the hanger are on different sides of the bar. Hard to explain... so you see more of the silver on one side (as in, left side) of the bar than you would the right. It made it tough to make the hangers symmetrical, but I hid it with fake flowers, so it was okay. Not enough of a con to lose any stars.

Products were good quality, but some on the tie bars would fall off freely.

Excellent really helps keep dress pants on the hanger and not the floor.
