Q: How well does this work for resist stencil on ceramic bisqueware? Will it take glaze or slip (water based materials) without lifting before removal?

I have used some of the not so great colors for etching on glasses and it works perfectly. I just adhere it, remove bubbles with a hair dryer, use etching cream, washed the cup, then remove the vinyl. The one time washing process doesn't result in lifting, as long as it is adhered fully. I would recomend cleaning your product with rubbing alcohol and letting it dry before placing the vinyl.

Q: Has anyone used these as decals on a vehicle or motorcycle body? Will it ruin the paint if they would eventually want to remove it?

631 is removable and not good for the outdoor elements. Use 651

Q: Is the Oracal 631 a repositionable vinyl -vs- the permanent 651?

Yes it is. I used it on the whiteboard in my classroom. The vinyl stays on, but can be removed easily at the end of the school year.

Q: Can you write with pen on this vinyl? I'd like to use it to make stickers for a journal.

It would work but 651 may be a better choice I find 651 is slightly cheaper. 631 is known as wall decal vinyl or temporary
