I thrift and garage sale shop seeking interesting fabrics, jewelry and trinkets that I will later use to create dolls. On one such occasion I stumbled upon a bin of blank cloth doll bodies. They had no faces and were partially stuffed. I bought them home completed the stuffing and painted on their faces. From there I hand sewed in the yarn for hair and hand sewed their clothing. Her jewelry is wire African glass beads and a cowrie shell. The scarf on her shoulder is made from bogolan (mud cloth) from Ghana. They are great dolls for girls and the adult collectors. I have (4) that are ready to ship each one is unique and (5) that are available for customization.
