Very lightweight, stable until you use it near its limits.
This cellphone tripod does what it is designed to do very well, given you don't plan to use it at the upper limits of its telescoping.CONSTRUCTION: Pretty solid. The telescoping parts are aligned using a groove in the pipe. In addition to keeping the whole thing aligned, this has the drawback of making the whole thing a little less adjustable, because you more or less have to rotate the entire stand if you need to make an adjustment. In other words, if you use it as a tripod, you need to be sure you set it up exactly as you want, before you take a photo / start recording. All of the points that articulate have what seems to be a brass pin acting as a hinge. They all move smoothly, (as long as you loosen the proper screw). Fully collapsed, the tripod legs take up very little space. The plastic pieces are well made, but these are also lightweight. They don't inspire much confidence that they will last under anything more than light duty. I would suggest a professional grade stand if you intend to use a phone stand on a daily basis. The actual phone cradle is very well made, and offers generous padding. The spring is fairly strong, and you may have a problem trying to accommodate larger phones. As you can see, it is of the standard type you see everywhere. It does have the problem of depressing the buttons on the side of iPhones.WEIGHT: This is an ultra-lightweight stand. It only weighs (575 grams / 1.27 pounds). This will fit in a full-sized messenger bag, a big purse, backpack, etc. This would be great for anyone who needs to record an interview, or perhaps a lecture, or even a landscape while hiking.STABILITY: The tripod is most stable when the tripod legs are fully extended, and at that point, the tripod is very stable, up to about half of the full telescoping length. At full length, with the weight of an iPhone 6s, it wasn't stable enough for video without noticeable wobble from air currents. When the stand is fully extended, it suffers from a slight "leaning tower of Pisa" effect. The base is perpendicular to the floor, but as you look at higher portions of the stand, you notice that each section adds a slight angle, so that by the top, your shot isn't level with the ground. This is really only noticeable when you have the stand fully extended, but it is something to be aware of, because you'd have to edit your photos / video for them to appear level.BLUETOOTH: The stand comes with a simple keyfob style shutter control. Once connected to your phone via Bluetooth, you can discreetly take a photo or start recording from a distance.CONCLUSION: Overall, the tripod is great for what it is, a cheap stand, for light duty use. It does what it was designed to do fairly well, as long as you don't need to use all 62" of telescoping. For setting up a stationary shot, it performs admirably.OVERALL GRADE: B+PROS:+ Construction is solid for LIGHT DUTY+ Very LIGHTWEIGHT (575g / 1.27lbs)+ Phone Cradle is strong, has good padding for phone+ Easy to adjustCONS:- Has a lean when fully extended

Great Little Gadget!
I had a phone case that had a "stand" on the back so I could prop my phone up. But the stand part broke. So I started looking for another case with a stand on the back. When I couldn't find one I really liked, I decided to look at little tripod-like things that would hold the phone up more straight and with other uses. That's when I was invited to try this tripod/phone holder/selfie stick. I've used it for a couple of weeks, now, and I really like it. First, it's a tripod that holds the phone up from about two feet to over five feet high. Second, and what I like the most, is that it has a remote that lets you stand back away from the camera to take a picture. The remote has a little slot where you can attach it to your keychain, for example. Or you can do what I did - put it on a short, removable chain and attach the chain and remote to the tripod so they never get separated. The tripod is extremely easy to set up and adjust, allowing you to adjust your phone to any angle: portrait or landscape or anything in between. It's also quite light, letting you use it as a selfie stick if you want to. I've found that holding my phone in my hand for any length of time (like to watch a movie) causes me some pain in my wrist, elbow, and shoulder. Now that I have this tripod, I can set my phone up with the tripod on a table or even on the floor in front of me and I don't have to hold the phone. The pain in my arm has actually decreased since I started doing this. So I highly recommend this product. You won't be disappointed. Final notes: I use this tripod with my iPhone 7; I was given this product for free to try out and to review. My opinions are completely honest.Edit: I forgot to mention that you can remove the phone holder and use this as a regular tripod for any camera, or whatever.

Thrilled with all the memories we were able to capture as a whole group
I am so thrilled with this Wireless Remote Phone Tripod that I really need to sing its praises. I run a golden retriever event in Dewey Beach DE and twice a year hundreds of golden owners meet up to play on the beach. Over the years we have gotten especially close to several of those members so being able to capture group photos with them this past September definitely ranks up their as priceless moments. This tripod is super easy to set up and put together and pairing the remote to my phone via bluetooth was even easier. All you do is secure your phone in the holder (I have an android and had no problem securing it, even in a heavy duty case), adjust the tripod's height then click the remote and you have memories to last a lifetime. This tripod can also be used a selfie stick for on the go photos which is even cooler but we pretty much just used the tripod function. This tripod fit easily into my overly packed suitcase and is lightweight enough to carry with you in a tote bag for on the go photos. I have never been more thrilled with a product then this one because of all the moments we were able to capture as an entire group, highly recommend.

Solid design with the features you need
For the price I didn't expect great value but this ended up exceeding my expectations. It is made of mostly metal and is sturdy. It is a little heavy which I would suggest is a good thing because you don't want it blowing over. The head which grips the phone is covered in a rubberish material which will prevent damage. This isn't a super high end, but that's the point. For the price point it is much more than you should expect. This would be great for shooting time-lapse, or social media videos in either traditional sideways or new cringey vertical video. As a bonus this comes with a blue tooth remote which really takes it over the top.Note- My unit was complimentary but this review is based on the current price of around ~$20. My opinions are my own, they didn't ask me to talk about anything in particular and it's not often I'm impressed with free stuff. If this honest review was helpful, do me a favor and click that helpful button :-)
