Is this a an 8 inch or 10 inch fan?

The outside of the housing is 10". The actual opening for the blades is 9". It moves a lot of air for it's size. It oscillates or can be stopped in one position. It is a table fan but they also make a non oscillating model that is table or wall mountable in black or white. Own several of these fans through the house for several years. Hope this helps.
