All of this time, and by all this time I mean the better part of 20 years, I thought jigsaws were horribly inaccurate and useless when you needed to cut an exact shape. Nope. Turns out the blades out is using were just super thin and flimsy and bent too easily. These blades are sturdy and cut a straight line like no one's business.

These cut through lumber with ease.

Alas, I've only used this Diablo(R) blade once, so can't speak to durability, but our Diablo-bladed circular saw has been working/cutting smoothly for several years on home & yard projects (it is too much for me to handle). In our DEWALT 20V MAX XR Jig Saw, this blade literally cut the curve in this 1/2" plywood "like buttah," as actors in the old SNL skits used to say. [The 4' x 8' sheet creates a beautiful floor (which we then "level" temporarily) for mini-van camping.]

The opposite face is a cleaner cut than the one close to the jigsaw. Able to follow my drawn line easily.

The blades I had been using were the factory ones that came with my jigsaw which gets a good cut but this blade is super fine. It worked great for finish work.
