Does this make curly hair shine? The wet look but dry?

My hair is more "lumpy" and it helps hold a tighter curl throughout the day. It can have a wet look, but if you scrunch it a little after your hair completely dries than it is just soft curls.

Is this good to do edges with or slick down ponytails for people with thick hair?

I have very thick, coarse curly hair. It keeps it under control but I wouldn't say in my case slicked down. I dont like "lacquered" look or feel DCo dont use enough to get to slick. Hair type matters here I suspect.

I’ve been using Garnier Fructis Style Curl Scrunch Controllin’ on my naturally curly hair and it works really well. It helps define curls and control frizz without leaving my hair stiff or sticky. My curls stay soft, bouncy, and more defined throughout the day. A little goes a long way, it’s easy to scrunch in, and it doesn’t weigh my hair down. It also smells nice, like most Garnier products.
