BOSCH WD7RIP Worm Drive Rip Fence

I ordered a Makita fence to start with. It worked but came with no bolt and was the wrong width. Makita has no idea what part is which. Without a repair manual, it is not possible to get Makita accessories. But, this came the right size for both Makita and Bosch. It came with a spring loaded thumb bolt so it won’t come lose. It worke exactly as one might hope. If you have a Makita 36v saw, this will work, but you’ll need to get a bolt at the hardware store.

This is the real deal. I fits the Bosch saw correctly and does the job well. Its a simple part but so helpful. Solid, well made. No complaints.

simple, yet very effective for ripping straight, cuts on sheet goods and cutting down long studs. Made a quality metal that doesn't bend or bow, when making cuts with the circular saw. Easy to tighten and adjust or move that rip guide to different measurements

Cutting across the grain of plywood can make the fence hard to keep on a steady track. However, cutting with the grain is a snap. This "Rip Fence" is designed to make repeatable cuts up to 5". For cross-cutting, I use the BORA 50” NGX Clamp Edge 544050 and BORA NGX Saw Plate RT Circular Saw Guide 546001. Both the Rip Fence and the Clamp Edge plus with the Guide make clean and accurate 4' x 8' cuts very doable. If your table saw is too small or unavailable, this is a GREAT solution.

Yes you might buy an alternative as I did. And you will return it because it doesn’t quite fit as it should. so buy the correct part first and get to work. Stores handily on the saw.

Works great. Comes with screw and spring to secure it. Its a little hard to get the screw tigthened by hand but its alright. If needed you can use a slot screwdriver to tighten it real good. Rip guard is of good quality and works like a charm on my Bosch wormdrive. Good price!
