Works a lot better on the GPS system which I installed it on then the original suction cup which was on it. Alot cheaper also then a replacement from the GPS manufacturer. Great quality and value.

Best RAM mount out there
RAM mounts are really great. I use them to hold action cameras to the side of my vehicle during offroading activities. They hold on well even when the cameras are whacked by branches and such. Assuming you get a good suction when you first mount it the suction cup can be trusted to stay on for hours.I like this one over the other type of twist base for 2 reasons. The first is that I think the 'wing-nut' style twist lock feature is easier to grab, especially when you or the suction cup is wet. The other type is easy enough, but this is just easier. The 2nd is that you can put other accessories on the top, including custom made ones, instead of the included 1" ball mount. The 1" ball mount is great, but with some creativity and a 3D printer I've come up with all sorts of tops to put on this that have allowed me to suction cup different things to smooth surfaces.In the end, you can't go wrong getting any of the RAM line of suction cups and accessories. They are high quality, durable, easy to use, and they just work!
