As a chef, I need functional and reliable equipment and so far this mill has been very good. For now I have nothing to complain about. Very efficient and fast. The 3 bowls are really practical and everything washes very well. I recommend it without any problem. The price is not affordable for everyone but if you use a lot of whole spices it is worth the investment.

March 8 2023 Advertised as a small spice grinder but the sealed lid works well for wet items. 750w is Plenty of power for most blending needs. Will easily grind ice cubes into small pieces. Commercial rating means replacement parts are available as they wear. No nonsense On/Pulse buttons. Cleaning the two included bowls is easy and takes less time due to the (approx) 1cup capacity.

This grinder has such a nice motor on it, I was amazed at the cheap piece of plastic they used as a cover. Like most professional kitchens I have a hard floor. The first day I used it, the cover was knocked to the floor and broke. Because this is a professional blender I would have expected a sturdier plastic. Because it doesn't really work without that cover it has since been duct taped a million times and I start the motor with whatever Pokey thing I can find near the mixer. I'm disappointed every time

This rocks! I bought it for grinding spices which I do often. I was using a coffee grinder which worked okay but could only do small batches. This is kind like a small food processor on steroids and super easy to clean. And it makes thick heavy whipped cream , salsa , sauces, and it can powderize the strongest black peppercorns. I came back and bought extra jars for it as the have sealable lids. Makes this super useful for all kinds of meal prep.

Does a great job of fine grinding while not heating the sample. The lid seals nicely to the cup and all is easy to clean. The lid breaks easily so order extras. In the heavy-duty application, I use it for in the lab we do go through cups and have needed to replace these. With the excellent job they do I keep ordering them.

Have only ground Chia seeds so far. worked great.

I am really happy with this chopper? blender? food processor? or whatever they call it. I looked in all the box stores for a small food processor but it was almost impossible to get at them because they were boxed or in plastic. The few that were out as demos just looked junkie to me. The price for this Waring Chopper was much higher than the off-the-shelf stuff, but after a lifetime of buying tools I have learned that it doesn't pay to go cheap. This was well worth it. As soon as you pick it up you can tell it's going to be a keeper. It's HEAVY. And unbelievably quiet. And it doesn't dance around on the counter when it's working. I like the small size because it doesn't take up a whole lot of room on my limited size countertop, plus it sits UNDER the wall cabinets. If you are OK with a smaller type of food processor (or whatever it is) I can recommend this one highly. Absolutely no regrets.

It's rather unfortunate that I have to write this review because when the grinder actually works it's incredible. However, the grinding bowls don't fit right and the lid takes forever to actually lock (which it does only one of the two bowls provided because the other one was somehow very slightly deformed straight out of the box and we were out of the return window before we realized it). So I am not sure what to do with this very expensive grinder that works but only may be some of the time and only after several minutes of finagling
