Fun finger workout
This is a great collection of warm-up exercises. It can also be used as a daily practice. It involves a series of both-hand exercises, very short, involving tempos, partial scales, rhythms and finger stretches.Don't try to do them all at once; add them gradually. It consists of 5 groups of 12 exercises. If Group 1 seems simple, well, Group 5 will have you feeling like a maestro. Each exercise is from 4 - 8 bars and almost all are in 4/4 time. They have humorously appropriate names like "Walking", "Jumping" to "Cartwheeling up a Hill".The book folds flat so it can go directly onto the music rack. My 9 year-old enjoys it as a way to learn playing. I enjoy it as a way to maintain finger flexibility and strength. I recommend this great little finger-workout book.

Best piano prep book
If you want to learn piano...BUY THIS BOOK! In fact buy ALL of Edna Mae Burnham's piano books. Gradual step by step exercises to promote your skills and confidence. Always a good warm up book before practicing pieces. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to play.
