Harvest Moon: One World Standard Edition - Nintendo Switch

Fun game! Entertained me for months. Great storyline, interesting villages to visit. Farming is great with a variety of crops. I like how crops can be used to make recipes. Living in different villages is made easy with the expando farm. Amazing graphics. My first harvest moon was the NES version. If you’ve ever played the NES you’ll love this. Spent almost two months playing this game. I finished the main story line and just finally got married in the game. Once you start playing you won’t be able to stop. Must buy!

I got this for my husband (what husband?) and haven’t seen him since his birthday 2.5 m ago. He says it’s like another old game where you farm; and he says things like, “the day is almost over” and I’m like, “what, dude? It’s 10 am.” Sometimes we’ll be doing quiet time together and I can hear him mashing at his game controller toy and muttering. He’s also gotten the children into it so now they all take turns like it’s their one hour outside the prison cell. I would give it 8 thumbs up.

At first the character moved slow with a glitch, it did smooth out. Excellent graphics & game play.I, personally, think it's a ridiculous price to pay for a game but the child wanted it so we got it. The child is quite happy with this game.

I will admit this game has its issues: time moves way too quickly, stamina drains even while not doing anything, little to any direction or guidance, and of course some bugs here and there. I will enjoy it for what it is and all that of course, I do think it’s worth a try, though the price should be lowered and the games needs some patches or updates to help fix some of its issues. While not the best or perfect game of the series, I still think it’s worth giving a try and just slowly getting used to it.

I bought this for a Christmas gift. I don’t play video games but I’m told they really like it. So a win win situation.

Wow! This game may have a low rating on IGN so I must be in the minority but I love this game so much! It’s entertaining, cute, and addicting. I’ve been using it as a distraction and let me tell you, it works!
