wouldn't normally write reviews for products but saw some negative ones and wanted to give a positive report! This case was considerably better than i was expecting having read some of the reviews, especially considering there are very few case options for the surface book series. This was bought for my surface book 3 and fits perfectly so I can confirm they're compatible. Yes it's a plastic shell and there's only so much durability they can give but this is certainly enough to protect the casing from nasty scratches and dings which was my major concern considering it's an all metal body. It also has a great little kickstand built into the base to raise the laptop at an angle if you're using it on a desk, and it has a support for the charging cable to help protect the most vulnerable part. Overall can highly recommend if you're wanting to add another level of protection

This case is exactly what I needed. It's durable, protective, and the feet are super helpful since they put the keyboard at a perfect typing angle when you're seated at a desk. Folks say they break easy -- they don't if you take good care of them! I've used these feet multiple times a week for 1.5 years and while one is a little loose and pops out if I open the foot aggressively, if I just do it carefully, they continue to work perfectly. The case is also easy to pop off and fits snug.
