E-Squared: Nine Do-It-Yourself Energy Experiments that Prove Your Thoughts Create Your Reality

I made a 'little' mistake
I already own this book myself and was buying it as a present for someone else. Sadly I didn't notice that I was buying a 'miniature edition' so was rather astonished when I opened the package to find a teeny weeny book. I don't think it will be very easy to use in this tiny format. However the experiments themselves are great. I found, once I'd overcome my aversion to the very american style of the author, I had surprising and inspiring results from this book. I read it for book club but have returned to it several times since when my life is feeling workaday and drab and always manage to rekindle a sense of excitement.

A really good read - very up to the minute - a practical guide to "The Law of Attraction". Highly recommended!
I have just finished this book and really couldn't put it down.Pam Grout writes well, it's also very well-edited, and she illustrates her book about The Law of Attraction with lots of positive examples from other people's experiences as well as from her own, which I found compelling. There are inspirational quotes throughout, often from quantum physicists, scientists and the world's recognised great thinkers and philosophers, which make you think more deeply about the profoundness of the concepts. The nine experiments are pretty exciting, and I enjoyed performing them. I guess you'll want to know whether they work?! - Well, yes - as it's all about your own belief, and fortunately I have a very strong belief system...in myself, in my capabilities, and in things always working out for the best in my life. This is how you are likely to find yourself thinking from reading the book and putting into practice its principles. It is inspirational, and is the practical guide to "The Secret", and also "The Wish" (which was another fairly practical book). I think this is possibly the most useful of the three books, but maybe you need to read them all to be able to fully comprehend what you are learning.ONE THING TO TAKE AWAY WITH YOU FROM THIS BOOK:- A very useful explanation concerning the Aramaic translation of the words "ASK...and you shall receive": In Aramaic, apparently the word "Ask" (as the first step in using The Law of Attraction) translates as somewhere between "Claim" and "Demand". With that in mind, it should dispel any sense of 'Should I be asking for myself?' the reader might have in following this 'command'. That alone is highly effective, and worth reading the book for, in my opinion.

I was so impressed with the material in this book that I ordered journals and purchased noticeboards for my friend and myself. We have had our first discussion regarding the contents of the book tonight and have agreed to re-read the book cover to cover and plan our experiments.Pam Grout has expanded on a topic already laid out by Ester & Gerry Hick, Wayne Dyer, Caroline Myss and Deepak Chopra to name but a few. However, the author has demonstrated that there are scientific laws that supports the theory of Law of Attraction; her writing style is one of clarity e.g. the experiments are carried on in a manner of an experimental test; the hypothesis, materials use and the format and tools required in order for the process to be replicated by others. Yes her findings does appear to prove that we are what we think; the book is a must have addition to the library of those of us who are travelling the road of self-discovery.

The book is relevant to my work as a spiritual counsellor, healer and teacher.
I chose the rating because it proves my own 10-year intensive training, in that we all, in a sense, are responsable for many, if not all, the things that happen to us.Unfortunately I'm so busy that I've not yet been able to find sufficient time of the right kind to do the experiments, but am sure they will prove to be as the author states.I would recommend this book to any person interested in the whole vast field of 'life' and how to create the best in one's own stay on the planet during this lifetime, in ways which are easy to understand and follow. I'd love to read up on Einstein and all the other brilliant physicists, but the language is very difficult to comprehend!

I still enjoyed the way that this book is written
Although I already know, understand and have worked with the principles of Law of Attraction for years, I still enjoyed the way that this book is written. It's informative, but in a light, witty, easy-to-read way rather than the heavier Abraham/The Secret. I originally bought this as a possible recommendation to my clients (I'm a Lightworker and therapist), but have found a couple of places where I've thought 'now that's an interesting way to look at this/explain things'. A good book, and I may also get her new one, E3.
