Works great for a small area
Love putting this heater on my desk a few feet away at a low setting to blow hot air directly on me. Nice and warm, heats up pretty much instantly, and isn't noisy at all.I left it running a bit longer at a higher setting to see if it would warm up my entire open basement, but it did not seem to make much of a difference. So it seems appropriate for heating smaller rooms or a person directly.

Excelente calentador

I was actually amazed at how well this works
I was actually amazed at how well this works. I've had this heater for a month. So far it works as well as my oil heaters at about half the price. I'm waiting on my electric bill but these can't cost more than my oil heaters and they heat faster. My electric bill is the draw back on the oil heaters. I used 5 for the last 16 years and in the coldest months (Jan and Feb), they run me around $400 a month. Good point about the oil heaters is that I haven't bought one since the late 90's and they all still work. I bought 2 Comfort Zone space heaters in 2014 and they both have since died. The 2 of them together couldn't heat more than 250 sq. ft. I'm never buying Comfort Zone again. Oil heaters are Delonghi and Honeywell. My house is 2700 sq. ft. but I'm only heating 1600 of those. I have 3 of these and an oil heater going and the house has stayed above 65 even at 22 out. Largest room is 600 sq ft and one of these works to keep it above 65 at 22 out. Like I said, I'm amazed. My enclosed garage is 500 sq ft and one poorly insulated wass and 3 good ones. One of these kept it 60 on a 22 degree night. The rest of the house has excellent insulation. I have one in the bedroom which is 300 sq ft and one of these will get it to 80 with no problem when above 30 out. I keep it set on 75 and it stays off over half the time. It rarely gets below 20 here, maybe 4 or 5 days a winter. These are light weight so I keep moving them around. 2 got the garage up to 70 when it got above 25 out. My only worry is that they will last only 2-3 years. I've never had heaters die as quickly as those Comfort Zone heaters. I"m getting one more of these next month to replace the oil heater that heats the approximately 150 sq ft hall and bathroom area. I've been in this house for 45 years and had frozen pipes only once. It gets close to 0 here maybe once a decade. Wash room froze in the 80's when it got to -5. Washroom has 2 walls with no insulation. House is brick. Not sure what it is like where you are so I'm throwing these temperature out. If it rarely gets below 20 and you have good insulation then i recommend these highly. Garage may be better insulated than I think because 8000 btu ac keep it (500 sq ft) below 80 till it gets to around 95 out. I read reviews that say this is only good for a small room I'm thinking that insulation and cold weather plays into that. I'm in Alabama and these are fine. It is 55 out at the moment and I have no heat on. 70 in here (garage). So far i see no cons.
