Smell is awesome & the container quite pretty (once cleaned up). That said - candle arrived in bubble mailer w/ two other items. Not being boxed, nor having a plastic sleeve of sorts, it fared poorly. What I beheld had several scrapes & "divots" on the top surface from contact w/ other items in package (now wax-laden). It wasn't difficult to wipe & buff the tin; but the overall presentation from mishandling removes any gift option what-so-ever. Embarrassing!

Smells so good!! So good I bought 4. Which turns out, was a great choice because they’re packaged in pairs. Some reviews showed broken products, well my box was packaged very very well, traveled all the way to Alaska in perfect condition. So you might as well buy two so they don’t have to separate them.

This is a nice-looking votive-size candle that would be a pretty gift; the design on the outside is meant to be holiday themed and certainly would work for that but it does not scream Christmas and could be used other times of the year without seeming crazily out of place. However, the scent is not at all what the candle's name or description indicates--there is no detectable evergreen, pine, fir or any related woody smells. The description mentions bergamot and that is noticeable, along with strong fruit elements (peach more than citrus) and also something floral that gives it a perfumey overall smell. Nothing like a fir tree, not sure why someone decided to name it "Ever Green", and the reference to "balsam" and "cedar" in the description is also misleading as I could not detect any hint of those subtle scents. So, if you are looking for a natural candle with predominantly evergreen or wood smell this might not be the right choice despite pretty holder; if you are OK with fruity and bergamot, or want a small gift candle for someone who is not too picky about perfumey smells then you might do well with it.

This candle smells terrific. I have tried to find the candle in stores, but couldn't. When I ordered from Nordstrom, the candle arrived broken into hundreds of pieces. I would definitely buy another!

I’ve purchased several of these candles from a local boutique who carry’s Illume candles (seasonally for Christmas)and they the scent is amazing. The scent on the candles I received from Amazon is almost nonexistent. If you put your face right up to the candle, you can smell it, but for such a large candle it doesn’t even remotely fill our home with the scent. Meanwhile, the smaller version of this candle from a local boutique could fill a room in just a few moments. My first order of two candles came and one was shattered, so they replace it with no issue. But I currently have two lit and I can’t smell them at all. I don’t know if these are old candles that have been sitting around the warehouse for a while or if they’re not genuine, either way, don’t waste your money.

This candle has such a lovely scent. It is soft and not overpowering but strong enough to fill my space with its lovely scent.

The candle smells lovely. More floral than piney.I am not happy with how this was delivered or the state of the candle. The candle arrived in a box with no packaging and is pretty beat up. Aesthetically, it’s not very pretty and it’s not giftable in its current condition.

Huele muy bien y aromatiza el area aún estando apagada (no la prendí), pero la tuve que regresar porque se me hizo muy pequeña. Relación/ costo, prefiero comprar otras marcas igual de buenas y más grandes

**update** received replacement today. Perfect condition. Looks & smells great. Very happy 👍👍Arrived completely shattered with absolutely NO bubble wrap or protection provided!! Wth!? Totally unsalvageable, unusable.. Shame on whoever chose to ship a glass item this way!! If I could leave negative stars I would!
