Do I have to use the iron ?

Yes, once you wash off 50% of it and blow dry. You finish by taking approximately 1/2 inch of hair and iron from top to bottom. Pass the iron twice. Some people use the iron at 450 degrees, but if you have fine, thin or processed hair (hair color, bleach, etc.) I would recommend about 380 at max, 350 minimum.

Do you flat iron with product in your hair?

After you wash off about 80% of the product off your hair. You technically still have some product in your hair. You have to dry it as is and the go over it with a flat iron to seal in the remaining product to your hair.

My hair is dark brown and I ordered the purple one, can I use it in may hair with no problem?

Yes, I am a natural blonde- lighter than most, and my hair turned a silvery blue. I washed most of the product from my hair which turned my bathroom and towels blue as well. Please do a test trial first…good thing is this color is in style right now and hopefully it will wash out in a few days/weeks.
