Mosquito and Insect Repellent, All Natural DEET Free - Original Outdoor Defense Moisturizing Lotion 4 oz

I am so prone to getting mosquito bites that I sometimes don't leave the house when I know they're out. This lotion has stopped all of that, it's absolutely fantastic. Recently in Talkeetna, Alaksa I was getting eaten alive by mosquitos and deer flies, so I went back to the car and covered myself in the lotion. For the rest of the day I did not get one bite, nor was I bothered, at all. Even my boyfriend swears by it now and we both agree that we shall only buy this repellent from now on. So many others have failed but this worked so good I can't stop raving about it to everyone I meet. Years of my life have been spent getting bug bites and it's made me miserable, but now there's a solution. Thanks Vermont lotion Co, you are amazing. Super fast delivery and great product.

I purchased this insect repellent lotion for a recent camping trip. There were four of use for a three day trip. Two of the others brought Off. The third guy didn't bring anything and as it turned out, everyone ended up using the VT lotion. The lotion, too, was far better than Off's spray. Good product and it's natural. I'd buy again.

This Skeptic is thoroughly impressed with this product.As one of those poor unfortunates that are irresistible to mosquitoes I instantly become a movable feast any time I am outdoors. Neither Off! nor Cutter work very well for me and they both "sweat off" rather quickly. So, after reading others' reviews for this product, I decided to give it a try..I only used a couple of small dabs, just enough to lightly smear it onto my ankles, knees, elbows and neck (all those tasty areas!). Then I ventured forth into the Great Outdoors and spent a good 90 minutes working in our vegetable garden. NOT ONE MOSQUITO BIT ME.Next day I repeated the process before mowing and edging the lawn. Again, no bites (and there was much rejoicing)!It may seem price-y but it only takes a small amount on your skin to keep the bloodsuckers away. The protection for me lasted about 2-3 hours before the scent began to fade; nothing else I have ever tried worked so well for so long.Yes, the scent is strong at first but not at all unpleasant. Highly recommended!BTW - I did not receive any form of discount or benefit from the manufacturer. I paid full retail for this, and will gladly do so again!

I have to say I was skeptical that anything would help us at camp in Maine with the black flies. I bought this product hoping it would somewhat help NEVER expecting it to stop them from biting at all. My husband is very sensitive when it comes to insect bites and the black flies usually leave welts all over him. I handed him the lotion and he put it on and he did NOT get bit at all. I gave some to all the eople opening up their campers who were complaining about the black flies and they allsaid they would be purchasing some and couldn't believe they have suffered all these years haha.. I posted a negative review on this product a while back and was totally shocked and thrilled when Vermont Lotion Company sent me two new, improved samples of their lotion. Such great PR almost brought me to tears. Just the fact that they care enough about their customers to try and make it right. Thank you, Vermont Lotion Company!Now, I did try the new samples and I will say, and this is my honest opinion, that the product is better. We are being plagued right now by those small black flies that fly in your eyes and ears and make life miserable. The lotion has been keeping them away! They don't like me when I apply the lotion! Yay! Now we can sit on our deck in the evening. Thanks again, VLC!!

This product repelled insects as well as any spray I have purchased locally in central CA and did so without the awful smell that the sprays have. In fact my family likes the subtle spicy smell of this product. It's also very light so the bottle goes a long way. The other lotion that I purchased at the same time was so thick that it used half the tube for one application. I was trying to find an insect repellent that doesn't contain deed, didn't smell so bad that you dreaded using it and actually worked. Vermont does all that AND leaves your skin feeling sooo soft 24 hours later! I will definitely buying more of this.

Not only does this product have a great smell, it goes on very easily! We are in baseball season, so at dusk the bugs are horrific! This product does a great job. Thank you Vermont Lotion Company!

I live in Florida, where the bugs boarder on carnivorous. This was really effective at keeping the bugs off of me and keeping my skin bite free. The best part was I didn't feel like I was slathering my skin in smelly poisons, as I do with most insect repellent products. I even felt like it moisturized my skin too.
