Molotow are my favorite acrylic markers, they are a little higher priced but in my mind they are worth the money - although this set is a GREAT VALUE. I absolutely love the color choices in the Molotow and they provide great coverage. I've never had any issues with them running or smearing, they are easy to prime and use. Did I mention how great the colors are? And the colors in this set are fantastic!

Wonderful! I love using them alongside my Posca Pens! :D You can smudge if you work quickly. I love having a flat matte coloring option with paint pens. Keep in mind they’re meant for crafting, and will ever so slightly tear most paper. The torn bits mix in with the paint and harden, making some areas ever so slightly textured. I’ve heard it’s alright with smoother paper like hot pressed watercolor, which can also take more layering. Would be best with canvas or wood panels tho. :) up to you, I love using them in my sketchbook regardless! Also great for rock painting!

I absolutely love these Molotow acrylic markers. I usually do not leave reviews, but these have been a game changer for my artwork. I highly recommend this product if you have not tried it. So glad I stumbled across them.

I used these markers to paint a turtle on a buffalo skin drum. I needed a durable marker that would hold up to being beaten by a drumstick. These markers definitely hit the mark there! They dry almost instantly (so be careful about making mistakes)! I couldn't rub the paint off with my fingers after it was on the drum for a half second.My only complaint is that the white marker bled a little underneath the stencil I used. Maybe that paint was thinner or I shook the marker too much? Who knows. **shrugs**

These are a staple for everyone. They are used like markers, but filled with acrylic paint. Great for kids and adults. These are easy to control, dry fast, produce brilliant colors, and they keep your hands clean. Fantastic for rock painting, cardboard creations, pumpkin decorating... really quite versatile. Love these!

I bought these pens to add a little metallic accent to Gundam plastic model kits. However I have so far had a very poor experience with using them for this application. For the sake of clarity, the type of plastic used on these models is polystyrene, though I have seen no warnings on the packaging to indicate this is ain unsuitable material to use them on.I got these just under a week ago, applied them that night and now 6 days later they still are not even dry to the touch. On the packaging it says both "127 hours" and "fast drying" and neither of these seem to hold true. I've left them under a hot air blower for an entire day to see if that would help dry them and it did absolutely nothing. I've left them in the open air and I've left them in the line of a fan blowing fresh air over them but neither seems to have changed anything. They are still wet and tacky to the touch even on the smallest thinnest applications and it makes it impossible to handle the smaller painted parts without getting the paint on my fingers and tarnishing the finish. This applies to all of the colours though I used the gold and silver paints the most.I can also rub my finger over the paper I used to pump the nib on before application 6 says ago and even that hasn't dried yet either. Either they take longer to dry than any paint I've ever known or they simply are not permanent as advertised.They are also very difficult to clean despite not being dry. Using isopropyl alcohol or lighter fluid and a cotton swab to clean off any overspill more often than not simply smears a very thin layer of the metallic element over the part I'm working on, which has lead to me working far harder than necessary to clean up the parts and some parts I've even just cleaned completely and started again. The paint feels very permanent in the places I don't want it and not at all permanent in the places I do want it.Another frustrating thing to note is that the nibs are certainly not 2mm. They are much closer to 3 even before they were saturated with the paint. This means that the delicate fine lines I was hoping to make with them are impossible and has lead to more of the frustrating overspill clean-up as noted above.The only good aspect to this lack of drying is I can mar the surface with a sponge or brush and give it a rougher more glittery finish which it seems to hold and not even back out, but it's still not dry.However despite these setbacks I grew tired of waiting and moved to the next layer of my painting process which is applying Gundam markers for panel lines over the top of the painted parts and this doesn't seem to have reacted badly with them despite not being dry, which is a small mercy.I planned on applying some kind of clear coat over my figure once it had all dried but I now don't want to run the risk of this reacting with the wet paint and causing problems.As for the good aspects, the colours themselves are outstanding. The sheen of the metallic effect is smooth and not grainy like some more glittery pens have. The colours are darker than I expected them to be but not so much so that it ruins anything.

Great colours. Loved these pens, they have a slightly smaller tip than others I have purchased but that means they are great for detailing. Wish there were more colour combinations without black and white being included. It’s easy to buy black and white detailers as singles so I don’t want them in a pack.

great product, doesn't fade with time. We use it on rocks and pebbles, great fun, just wish they were cheaper!
