Bad SWR
When I got the product it looked when good with nicely designed enclosure that looked secure and well-suited for outdoor use. I began building various half-wave dipole antennas using the balun in the 10-m or approx 29 MHz band. I used a rigexpert antenna tester to measure resonance frequency and SWR. Sadly, the device produced a SWR of more than 1.5 even on resonance. In some measurements the resonance SWR was as much as 3-4. When I took the balun off the antenna and connected the antenna tester directly to the antenna wires the resonant SWR was typically 1.1-1.2. I suppose an antenna tuner might be able to overcome the impedance mismatch but the balun did not achieve the low advertised SWR.

No RTV please!!!!
Please stop using RTV as filler. The RTV has acid in it causing the copper to turn green and leach into the RTV causing it to fail with less than 1kw on SSB with in one minute of TXing!!!!

High SWR
High swr, using antenna analyzer can’t get it over 28 ohms.
