I have a litter of toy poodles puppies, and was looking for Something for them to to chew on instead of my shoes and the wood on my deck, etc.. these are nice and thick so they can chew on them, but they can’t bite pieces of them off. Of course, I keep an eye on them whenever they’re chewing on them just in case. They seem to love the taste of them. I don’t know how good they would be for bigger dogs that could chew them up quickly.

Product is a decent size per chew. My dog loves it and it hasn't given him any negative effects. A nice treat that lasts awhile.

My dogs like them but I did not like the ants in the bag when they arrived. The product was listed for a very good price compared to pet store prices so I decided to try these rawhide treats. I like that they were all natural and made here in the U.S. as major pet stores have many products packaged overseas and the products tend to have a bad odor that takes a few days to air out before my dogs will eat them. When the box was opened I had the raw hide chews and lots of moving specks of protein we call ants inside the plastic bag. Very small red ants. I opened a corner of the bag, filled with water and poured the water out but almost all the ants remained so I microwaved the bag to kill the ants and rinsed off each chew individually to remove the now dead ants. The Amazon box had to go outside as there were ants in the box as well. Not sure where the ants came from as the box was on my porch for about an hour when I took it inside. The ants could have originated from my shrub beds next to the porch but I did not look for ants when I picked up the box and did not see any ants on the porch afterwards.Good products that I dogs are chewing right now and a very good price but the bag needs to be sealed better with no holes in it.Update on the product. Killing the ants with water and a microwave softened the chews slightly. I cut one of them in half for my two long hair chihuahuas and gave a whole chew to my Jack Russell. They are all chewing quietly and are content. I would purchase these chews again.

I truly worry about what is going on at the Pet Magasin Headquarters....the price has increased by $5+ and the chips are severely shrinking in size. I keep buying because, to my dog, these things are more addictive than crack!! She simply HAS to have one every night (on the bed) and then she fades to dreamland. I've always tried to find the thickest and longest piece (depending on that day's behavior, mind you) but it seems that the last 7 bags I've purchased have all been extremely disappointing in the fore mentioned categories. I can't find a single one that even comes close to the thickness that they used to be...not one!! So, okay, I get the price increase....but am totally stumped by the dwindling size. I just doesn't work both ways Pet Magasin....either increase you price and maintain the quality....or decrease the quality and maintain the price. In my humble opinion, you should be ashamed to keep packing bag after bag of scrawny product. This is just another sad and depressing reminder of all the unkind things that are going on in today's world. Sighhhhhh.....

My dog loves these rawhide chews. The price is excellent. My only issue is that they vary pretty greatly in size and thickness. Some are very thin and she chews through them in a matter of minutes (which defeats the point of her being busy for a while!) And a few were very small in size, I couldn't even give them to her because she'd be able to put the whole thing in her mouth immediately. Also, a few have been very thick and she's chewed on them a really long time. Overall, I'd say 70% of the bag has been great, enough so that I just ordered another bag because I can't beat the price point, even having to throw a few out.

I am not a rawhide fan given what medical advise is now given but, these are single layered, thin, no dyed, no bleach, made in USA etc... If you don't have a gobbler, I recommend these. Never any obstruction worries nor tummy upset. My dogs are large breeds 60lbs and up. One dog loves these while his brother, only so so. I get them now and then as a treat for them. And again, I know rawhide is considered bad for dogs but, I find these to be an exception for my dogs. I have purchased these countless times but, not continually. I also do not give them one daily. These are the best I could find for quality, safety and reasonable cost.

Yes, these are expensive rawhides, no doubt about it. But, my three LOVE them. Two of them are pigs and will eat anything so I can't really judge the chews on them. The third dog will eat a regular rawhide if they are small and thin and most likely will let the other two take it from her if she hasn't eaten it in the hours prior when it was given. These chews are long and so much thicker than store bought ones and she eats them. I mean she lays down and actually finishes the chew within minutes and will defend her prize. So, based on her alone, these chews are downright yummy.

I buy this brand mostly because they are made in the US. My dog likes to chew on something and these are a good way for him to do that. However, these are really big and can be quite thick as well. My husband will cut these up on the bandsaw, believe it or not. That way they last longer and my dog won't choke. I have a big dog, but still, these chips are too big, in my opinion.

Mis dos perros adoran estas patatas. Cuando las compré por primera vez no sabía si serían las adecuadas, por el tamaño, el sabor o la textura, ya que no conocía este producto. Había tenido experiencias pasadas con este tipo de patatas de cuero y no habían sido muy positivas, ya que mis perros las masticaban, pero se cansaban enseguida y entonces mordían de nuevo mis muebles, las alfombras y todo lo que se pusiera a su paso. Creo que quizá no les gustara el sabor de estas otras patatas y por eso era escéptica respecto a comprar este producto de Pet Magasin. Ahora me doy cuenta de que es una de las mejores decisiones que he tomado. Mis perros se pasan horas y horas mordisqueando estas patatas. Yo puedo intuir que les encanta el sabor, ¡porque no quieren ni compartirlas entre ellos! Eso me resultó curioso desde el principio. Además, puedo notar sus dientes mucho más limpios desde que las usan. El mismo veterinario me ha comentado que les ve mejor los dientes y más sanos. La mejora del aliento, desde luego, también es un punto a favor. Estas patatas tienen un tamaño, forma y grosor diverso, pero estándar, y por eso están indicadas para perros de cualquier tamaño, por lo que puedo dárselas tanto a mi pastor alemán como a mi pequeñito border terrier por igual.Mi casa ahora luce impecable, por primera vez en años. Con otros productos, como he mencionado, mis perros se cansaban y recurrían de nuevo a morder los muebles, pero ahora, con este descubrimiento, todo está perfectamente y sin bordes estropeados. Algo que remarcar es que no dejan ningún tipo de olor desagradable como ocurre con otros productos. Además, cada una de estas patatas dura muchísimo, ¡por lo que amortizo cada bolsa de una libra al máximo!Me gusta la idea de que le estoy proporcionando a mis mascotas productos naturales, que no contienen ningún tipo de química, ya que, a la larga, esto siempre es perjudicial. Esto es algo que me llamó la atención muy positivamente de estas patatas, y lo que me tranquiliza a la hora de dárselas y que las usen durante tantas horas. Sé que no encontraré nada mejor.

Mis perritos de 7 meses lo adoran. Ideal cuando quieres tenerlos entretenidos un rato sin tener que vigilar que no hagan trastadas. Con el cambio de dentadura les va muy bien para calmarlas y así no muerden muebles.Las cortezas son grandes , algunas más gruesas que otras. En seco my duras. Yo las pongo en agua caliente un rato para ablandarlas y las corto en tiras más delgadas con tijeras grandes.

This is the fourth bag of these rawhide chews I've bought for our rescue Labrador, Finn, they were a good price, very good quality, clean & enjoyed by the dog, but this bag, I'm shocked disgusted by how bad they are, they've been baked/cooked, whatever they do to them, until they are nearly dark brown not white, they are shrivelled, tiny and dangerously brittle, I was going to return them but my granddaughter opened them & gave Finn one, within 2 minutes he had blood coming from his mouth where the chew had snapped & cut his tongue & cheek, very luckily it wasn't bad enough for a vet trip but any mouth cut bleeds heavily & my granddaughter was horrified as she blamed herself for hurting Finn, this beautiful dog came to us after the most horrific start to life, burnt with cigarettes, his mouth taped shut, beaten, neglected & more, he panics dreadfully when a fuss is around him like when I was trying to remove the chew from his mouth, poor little thing has been through enough in life & for this to happen to him or any other animal is wrong, to sell a product that is so much more inferior to their previous product is disgusting, profit over quality, & yes, the price had gone up by either 5 or 6 pound than before the lockdownI won't buy again & urge anyone else not to. Its not worth the anguish & distress to your dog

Ce ne sont pas des copeaux, mais de très gros morceaux, très difficiles à couper !Pour un cavalier King Charles il faut les partager en deux...Mais ma petite chienne aime beaucoup !Je n'aurai pas acheté au prix fort...Mais une dizaine d'euros, c'est bien !

Mi labrador ya tiene 9 años y los huesos de cuero de vacuno le costaba morderlos, por lo que yo tenía que pasarlos por agua hirviendo para ablandarlos un poco. Sin embargo con el grosor de estas patatas se anima a hincar el diente sin ningún problema!. Estoy muy contenta porque así mantiene la boca limpia de sarro y se entretiene un muy buen rato. Todos contentos.
