Aftermarket blind spot detection system uses new algorithm for increased performance and fewer false alerts. The new algorithm determines whether a vehicle is in an actual blind spot rather than alerting you when a vehicle is merely to the side of you. Can identify non-moving objects such as stationary vehicles, curbs, or poles. Uses SONAR technology to detect threats in less than 120 ms. Installs in virtually any modern vehicle using a 12V electrical system. Four wire system hookup for easy installation. Two rear bumper sensors (paintable). Two front sensors for fewer false alarms (paintable). Two in-car LED indicators for visual alerts. Alarm unit for audible warnings when turn signal is activated. 10 foot alert range covers most blind spots. Adjustable to a lower sensitivity. Custom hole-saw for sensor installation. Includes industrial strength double-sided tape.

Works well but gives false readings at time. Driving ...
Works well but gives false readings at time. Driving down the freeway alone and indicators lights up. Driving next to trees, sidewalks, signs, people, etc.... it picks it up all. Wish it would gives less false readings that all.

Manufacturer Dishonest About Functionality
It has been 6 months, car in the shop 4 times. Still not working correctly. I did my homework and called the Manufacturer before purchasing. I told him the make/model and what we expected. They "guaranteed" this would work for me by detecting *CARS* (keep reading). So they drill the 4 holes, install the sensors. One of the wires got pinched and was giving a bad signal. Trip #2, got that fixed. Now the unit doesn't detect anything. Never goes on. Trip #3, they flip some dip switch and now it goes off 95% of the time while driving. Trip #4. Me and the installer get on the phone with the manufacturer: "normal operation" to give a warning when driving next to a 2" curb. "Normal operation" to detect a stop sign that is 1 foot set back from the curb, which is 5 feet set back from the side of the lane. So basically, the light is on all the time. I guess I could have purchased a $2 stick on LED light and just turn it on myself. Now I am told I need to purchase ($50) a speed sensor so that the unit will only turn on above a certain speed. Complete waste of money and I have 4 holes drilled in my car.Manufacturer will claim it is the driver, but I also have a 2016 Acura with Advance. It has a Blind Sport warning that actually detects cars. It is nearly flawless.

Affordable sensors at half the price of the Factory!
I purchased some of these sensors from DrivSafeUSA online and got them promptly. They have all the hardware needed for installation in my 2005 Acura TL. I painted them to match the pearl white. The install took me about 7 hours because I did it myself instead of paying a shop $250.00 for installation. If I could go back my time was probably worth the money to have it installed professionally. They have worked great so far and no complains! I would recommend them to anyone!
