While very practical, there are some design flaws.I was looking for a compartmentalized lunch container. I like packing things seperate rather than having my food all mish-mashed together. This box is a fine option to pack things neatly and allow variety.I am somewhat pleased with this product. I will outline my pros and cons below.Pros:Portion control built inMakes good "snacky lunch" boxesQuite large as far as bentos go.Cons:The containers bend very easily. Once they bend, it becomes harder to put the box together.If one compartent is slightly out of place, it won't close.When it does close, it is not a very strong seal.

Size is very bad if you want to pack an adults lunch!!! Don't buy unless you need it for a kid shack!!!

EZ Lunch Containers work great at keeping food fresh, separated and from getting squished! I can’t wait to use this container for storing snacks for my kids when we travel out of town this Holiday Season! I think it will work perfectly!I’ve been using my EZ Lunch Container to pack my lunch for work. It doesn’t have a handle or a place for a drink so I just toss the entire container into my (Thirty-One) lunch bag. It saves me from having to use three or four sandwich bags a day, plus it keeps my sandwich (and maybe my cookies ;-)) from getting squished! I like to put sliced apples in one of the sealed containers. It keeps them fresh and I don’t have to take my apple slicer to work. It’s also great for portion control of my leftovers! I like that it comes with a container for salad dressing or sauce and it has a place for you silver ware!It took me a little bit to figure out the latch. At first it seemed complicated, but really it’s very simple! You just push it in towards the container and slide it up. After I showed my 9 year old son how to open it, he was able to do so without any problems. The containers are heavy duty and well made. The lids fit like they should and are easy to snap on and take off. I appreciate that everything is dishwasher safe! One of my favorite things is how easy it is to store this container! Since it fits all the smaller containers I don’t have to worry about digging through my many different Tupperware Containers to find what I need. I just open it up and everything is right there! When I first purchased this product, I wasn't sure how good of quality it would be, or if it would really be worth asking price, but I was pleasantly surprised! These containers, while not the color of the picture (the actual containers and lids are yellow and green, while the outside is still clear), are very good quality, right up there with the good quality Tupperware. I am super excited that the containers are microwave and dishwasher safe, because I hate to wash dishes by hand. I was looking for a way to eliminate all the plastic bags and individual containers for my kids lunches. We are looking for ways to save some money on all those extras, and this fits the bill. The lids do fit tightly, but even my 5 year old is still able to open them. I can easily put applesauce, cottage cheese, pudding etc in these containers and they don't leak. It even has a little container for ketchup or salad dressing. It also help that my kids really think this lunch container is really fun. There is also a place to write your name on the bottom of each container, so nothing gets lost. This is a really great lunch container and worth the money for quality!* I purchased this product at a reduced price in return for an honest review.
