I was kind of disappointed with this initially. At first it didn’t seem the “fins” were opening properly. It would only move liquid in one direction. After using it for quite a few minutes it started working in reverse, like it just needed to get used to open properly. Then it started to really work well, but at this point we had been at it for a while. Hoping future uses it works really good now that it’s been used and the fins kick out properly.4 stars because in the end it started working properly, however in the beginning it worked as well as a spoon.

I purchased this under the impression that the entire unit was stainless steel. Unfortunately the wings are made out of a hard plastic. Since I would be using this often, I did not want to run the risk of the wings breaking while it hit the glass. I decided to return and go for an all steel unit. For the occasional brewer, this should work fine just as long as you pay attention while stirring.

It is perfect for agitating the wine and a lot easier than doing it by hand.Quicker also.But you have to be careful not to go to fast with the drill or it will overflow

Arrived quickly and as described. Just used it to degas 60L of wine, no more 15 mins of arm straining stirring!

This tool is not worth more than 1$. It does the job, but it is extremely expensive.
