Nice mat with some cool features.
I should have owned this a long time ago. I always made due with diy solutions. The magnetic cup sections are nice. Also the lettered and numbered individual sections are pretty smart. Well made. It comes rolled up so it takes a day or so to completely flatten. Probably some light heat gun treatment would relax it quicker.

Is it really worth nearly $40?
No, its not worth $40 dollars. But, it's still a nearly 5/5 star product. The mat is really nice looking. Something beautiful to display on your work bench or desk. It's also fairly big, and has more than enough compartments to keep your job well organized. The downside, is that the mat is a static magnet for hairs, dust, etc...Do not use with any static sensitive components. Not to mention its rubberish, so any crumbs will stick to it like tape. That being said, the mat is a pleasure to work on and look at. It is best suited for simple jobs that are not at risk to static electricity. Nontheless, the quality of the mat for what you get with all its limitations and high price is still a solid 4.5/5 stars, but it's not worth nearly $40 dollars, so I wouldn't purchase it again. It's worth more like $25 dollars. Next time, I will just purchase a cheap non-brand type like the many on Amazon. The main reason I purchased this, is because of the nice red color and previous reviews.

Sehr gute Lötmatte vom Profi Weller
Im Gegensatz zu den billigen chinesischen "Nachbauten" riecht diese Matte nach .... nichts !Die chinesischen Matten stinken gewaltig und verlieren ihren "Geruch" auch nicht nach tagelangen "Auslüften" an der frischen Luft.
