Sterilite6 Pack Gasket Box, Stackable Storage Bin with Latching Lid, 20 Quart

I use these bins for storing 3D printer filament to keep it dry. I also use them to isolate/quarantine newly purchased plants that will go in my terrariums. These work well for both.

I’ve ordered these before and love them. The seal is tight, love the clear to see the contents, and they hold a fair amount of stuff. I previously gave these 5 stars....The reason for subtracting a star now is one box had a broken, cracked off corner when it arrived. I needed them ASAP so I kept them to use the 5 good ones instead of returning them. I put tape on the broken one (to cover the sharp edges) and am using it for less important things out in the garage.

I have ordered 3 sets of these. The 1st time the containers all arrived safely unharmed. I must have been lucky as I had read many reviews indicating customers receiving broken containers. I decided I needed another set about 6 months later. When they arrived 3 of the 6 containers were broken. So, I returned them The shipping box is thin cardboard and there is no protection for the containers inside. I can see how they would be easily broken during shipping. Obviously, the "handle with care" printed on the box is not enough. I exchanged the broken set for another set. The new set just arrived and this time 1 is broken. I have decided to keep them as I still have 5 and I am not sure how many good ones I would get if I tried again. The boxes are fine although a bit expensive (probably to cover the cost of all the returns)Updated my review as the company (Spreetail) sent a replacement for the damaged container in the last shipment. I am happy with Spreetail and their service.

Love how much these hold and how they are the right size to carry. Perfect for storing kids toys and craft supplies.HOWEVER - I carefully measured the LEGO base plates and verified the online measurements of this storage box to ensure they would fit inside. The boxes though taper from the top to bottom so the LEGO base plate cannot rest at the bottom of the box NOR is the box tall enough for it to rest vertically. The only way to fit a LEGO base plate is to put it at an angle which makes filling the box with other items more difficult especially if you do not want to warp the LEGO base plate. So these boxes work great for many things - just not the LEGOs I bought them for.

The first thing I saw when I opened the package was a chip of plastic laying on top of the lids. I knew that was a bad sign. Very disappointed as this product otherwise would be just what I wanted. I have no idea where or how the damage occurred as the shipping box looked fine. Most of the lids arrived cracked in one corner. One was so bad that the inside seal was also broken. It will not be easy for me to return this as the box is quite large. I will not order this product again.

I use plastic bins regularly for craft supplies, paperwork, sheet music, tax documents, pictures, holiday decorations...you name it. I have always used Sterilite products because of the quality, but had never seen this particular style until a friend brought some files to me in one of them. I absolutely LOVE the way the lids lock into place and stay closed. These are very well-made, stack nicely, and very easy to carry by the side handles. After reluctantly returning the bin to my friend, I immediately went to Amazon and purchased the six-pack. I'm a very happy customer!

2 broken tubs in undamaged box.I won't purchase again if they don't replace because they are quite expensiveI like the design but if I can count on a few broken boxes in each order I will find something else.

One box out of 6 was received broken at the corner (matching damage on corner of shipping package). Only option provided is to return all 6 for full refund, but I really need the boxes this weekend. Third party seller. Ugh.
